  1. I'm laughing now because I'm like "do you see where I live??" But then I'm like well, I have never had the sticks from the diner. So maybe ....
  2. I think the minimum for craps is $5. That's how much I bet. I've never played the other games.
  3. LOL. That was going to be my next question. On my upcoming cruise, I was hoping to try some different and "higher" end whiskeys. So I was just curious. That 15 stands even if you don't have the drink package. But without the drink package you can get pitchers, fishbowls, buckets of beer, and doubles. I've never heard how those get counted.
  4. The terms say that there is a 25% discount on drinks over $20. So if my drink is $24, I'd be charged $18 for it? I'm used to other lines where I would just have to pay the difference. CHEERS! INCLUDES: All spirits (including cocktails), as well as beer and wine by the glass with a $20.00 or lower menu price Sodas, Zero-Proof frozen cocktails, energy drinks, specialty coffee, hot tea, 500ml bottled water and other non-alcoholic bottled beverages Packaged water in the Dining Room and Specialty Restaurants 25% discount off the menu price for any spirit or wine by the glass above $20.00 25% discount off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle 25% discount off beverage seminars and classes
  5. If I arrive after boarding has begun, will I be able to go right on?
  6. Another fun fact. The P does noes not stand for privacy!
  7. Hi all. I just turned platinum after my last cruise in November and will be cruising again in March on the Jewel. Can y'all give me tips on how to make the best use of my tier benefits? For instance, I remember reading about a strategy for when to use the latitude meal vouchers vs the FAS meal but I can't remember what it was. What would I use the concierge for? Thanks
  8. I guess I liked the Prima more than I thought. I just booked 2 cruises on the Viva 😂
  9. I'm looking forward to following your review. I'm doing a PC cruise on the Jewel in March.
  10. @Juncti @Sthrngary Thanks for your responses. My cruise is in March and I've decided I will go ahead and upgrade. One thing that I am excited to do is see if I can find any unpeated scotch to try 🙂 I'm also looking forward to experimenting with different wines.
  11. I’m looking for advice. My next cruise is a 9 day Panama Canal cruise on the Jewel with 3 sea days. There maybe an additional port or 2 that I might stay on the ship for. I’m not terribly picky when it comes to brands. Tito’s, Jameson, and Patron suit me just fine. However I want try some higher end whiskeys and bourbons. Not scotch 🤢. Would it be worth it to upgrade to the plus package? My main concern is that there will be a lack of different ones to try. I can definitely make use of the aqua panna water and get grand marnier floaters in my margaritas and sip some champagne. But that would be stuff I’d be doing just to get my money’s worth.
  12. I’ve certainly framed my experience in the studio cabin around the fact that I’m 4’ 10”. I don’t think that I’ve ever commented on the suitability for a bigger person, but I have said that a bigger person might find the space tighter than I did.
  13. There are comedy shows without the age restriction that kids under 18 can attend. It's the late-night ones that have the age restriction, and not even all of those have that restriction.
  14. My 1st cruise after startup, september 2021, had the solo gatherings in the lounge. The door was just propped open at that time. My 3 cruises after that all had the gatherings in a bar.
  15. Are they located closer to the kid's and teen's clubs?
  16. But I do have to say, my 1st cruise was on Valor out of NOLA on a Saturday and the Saints played that Sunday. They played the game on the big screen outside. People had pots and pans and were banging them on the lido!! I said y’all just as crazy as we are 😂😂😂
  17. Look now. We ain’t gonna have all this Saints talk up in this Philly girl’s thread. Go Birds 🦅!!
  18. Yes. The Belvedere bar is huge. I was meeting someone there and I was waiting at the bar and didn’t see them even though they were texting me that they were there. I didn’t know there was a whole other part of it around the corner.
  19. I just checked and Glory just had a wet dock this year and a dry dock last year.
  20. Right now, NOLA only has the Valor sailing out in April. The Liberty isn't scheduled to start there until May. It seems they are moving a few ships around so I'll just have to keep an eye out I guess.
  21. Here is my post where I posted the dailies for my cruise. You can see what events happened in the atrium vs other areas
  22. Yeah. I just saw that about the Liberty moving to NOLA in May. I asked John Heald about April. Will I get a response??? hahaha It's a ways off though so anything can happen. Congrats on the wedding!!!
