I saw it on the 9/2 sailing. I thought the food was better prepared than when I saw Velvet in the Breakaway last September. The act itself was fun. They use found objects, so yeah, a guy is playing drums with flip flops. Lol. This is an act where I think the audience’s energy makes or breaks it though. I clapped and sang along with the band and had a good time, though I did notice much of the audience just sat there and looked at them. I remember a michael Jackson medley, Chumbawumba, and one of me fave songs Come on Eileen. Theres also some breakdancing and tap dancing. There’s some audience participation and some jokes. They’re a talented group imo. The guy with the long hair also performed with the Syd Norman group while I was there.

Were you on the Bermuda cruise that didn’t go to Bermuda? I was also. I’m on this one too. I booked a while ago and am getting the runaround with upgrading now that the prices are so low (no single supplement). My original price was pretty good and I get double points, so I’m trying to not be so annoyed by it.

It only starts to get weird when you can't tell which cruise pics (different cruises) you"re looking at because you're wearing the SAME outfit in all of them 🤣

I just got my Vibe pass for my Prima cruise over Thanksgiving. The first agent told me that I had to wait until after final payment date. The chat agent referred me to reservations. The third agent also tried to say it was too early to book. I said I "know" someone who purchased a pass for a Prima sailing in February. (Thanks @sid_9169) 🙂 He put me on hold again and was able to add it to my booking. It's still so new that they are referring to emails. As an FYI, it's listed in their system under entertainment and not amenities if the agent can't find it. I also got a separate entertainment receipt in addition to the updated booking invoice.

I’m sailing on the conquest 6/20 and have a mysterious $8.85 in OBC that I didn’t have before. I haven’t noticed any price decreases in fees etc when I compare old and new invoices

I like to remind folks that if you pay with carnival gift cards you don’t sail, the refund will be in the form of gift cards. So unless I have cruises booked to apply those refunds to, I’d rather get the “cash” refund.

It will be applied as OBC. Refundable I think. So you would be able to withdraw it at a kiosk onboard instead of waiting to receive a check in the mail.

No. the health assessment asks if you've tested positive, been exposed, or are exhibiting symptoms. If you've been uploading your documents to verifly, you have to complete the assessment there. I don't think it even shows on the website. At least it didn't for me on my last cruise.

A TA on my sailing that leaves tomorrow said there were only about 10 cabins left.

it was free for me. But google free quest covid test so that you get the right link. If you just go to the regular quest site, it will tell you that a prescription is needed

I had a 7:30AM appointment on Tuesday and my results were emailed Wednesday 4:11AM. That's the quickest it's been. its usually closer to 36 hours.

I just got the email. But I have to complete the assessment in verifly after I upload my negative COVID results. The assessment isn’t available on the carnival site for me.
