Being in a suite doesn’t guarantee that you get earlier boarding, it means you get priority within your assigned port check in time (and that is determined by how quickly you get on with the online check in). Suite’s guests can arrive 1 hour earlier than their check in time.

While this is not strictly on topic, I have the extra free time now waiting for this website to get back up so I thought I would ask if I’m the only one who thinks the ET style graphics and sci fi font for the opening splash page is a little odd for a Black Friday Sale? 👽🎄

I got in fine at midnight last night. Apparently that was the only opening I will get since this morning at 10 AM it tells me the cruise planner is not available. You people broke the internet 🤣 @footzz there were also two prices on the key for one of our sailings last night, it was $18 from one link and $27 from another 😳

While I am aware that they will look at a players card from another casino /ship’s casino and offer some FreePlay or even a free cruise, I was saying that I have not heard of them giving someone casino tier status based on a casino tier status from another cruise line. I know a lot of players and I have never heard of them doing that. The link you list isn’t about matching tiers, but for “Casino Royale Offer Match Program.” They also do not award cruise status from other cruise lines other than from Celebrity and those are apples to apples matches since there are limits on which status they allow and those cannot be built on. I was just trying to clear things up for the OP and suggested that she call RCL for clarity 😊

I have just never heard them doing status matches for the casino, as I understand that they are not even doing status matches with their sister line celebrity, but as I said they may do it. But as @StephPS79said, calling them is likely your best option is calling the Casino line directly.

You need to wait until your 30 days or less out. Otherwise, most of the time, you’re not going to get any results.

And thank goodness we have the ability to do that. When my parents started cruising with us when we were quite young, in the late 60s and early 70s, the option to “phone home” involved a ship-to-shore call that was about the price of an automobile (an exaggeration of course, but it was very expensive).

They are offering a status match for the casino or the cruise line? The latter is not possible except for from Celebrity (and it is not a full status match, meaning the top levels cannot be matched). I have not heard of them matching on the casino tiers (although it may be possible). It definitely is possible for them to offer free cruises based on your play on other lines. But I would be super suspicious if you are being taken to a TA to book since if you are really dealing with the royal casino you would be dealing directly with them and not a TA. If you could post a little more detail?

Am I missing something? This seems we’re in junior high school and somebody posted about wanting to have a party for their friend’s uncle brother’s cousin who made Chief Eagle Scout. Really? Get the person a card, but I can’t really see how it warrants a threat at CC.

There are frequently posts on this type of thread suggesting that everyone unplug for a week. Wouldn’t that be lovely! But then some of us own businesses, have children/elderly parents/pets at home, or have other major adult life responsibilities and thus need some connectivity in case real-world, non-vacation problems occur.

Unlimited Dining Package (where with certain restrictions you have unlimited dining in the majority of the specialty dining venues). And yes, I meant that Symphony’s CK is better than Allure’s in both service and preparation (I realized the mistake later and corrected it, sorry). We have sailed both multiple times and each time have found that to the case.

My opinion - the CK on Symphony is far better than the CK on Symphony. We find plenty of variety in the CK but do enjoy the MDR on occasion for a change in scenery. Since I’m paying for a suite I don’t want to also pay for an UDP (since we feel that we already paid a price to get CK as our speciality restaurant).

That is very odd. I have an email about my cruise in three weeks that is comped that says that I cannot use my Stock benefit.

Commercial interruption: My hypothesis is that it is possible that a person can suddenly began to post so fast and furiously over a very short amount of time that she/he short circuits and thus the posting becomes tangled and confused. Visions of the Tasmanian Devil or Whirling Dervishes come to mind. But I could be wrong. carry on 👹

That is where mine show up. Since the shut down I have never received one by email or snail mail. I had not had any them show up on the site until fairly recently. I had sent a half a dozen emails and made calls to the casino that kept telling me there was no issue with my email or anything else keeping me from getting offers; but then one rep finally said there was another name associated with my email and he removed it. Then the offers began.

I’m not sure the letter and the purpose of the keys are in any way related. A lot of times the extra keys are made when people are swapping rooms within a family so that, for example, two teenagers can stay at a room near mom and dad (Since teens can’t book a room without one of the parents being on the reservation). But that is far different from suggesting that they are to be used for guests or friends for access in a Diamond or Suites lounge. Guest are definitely not allowed in either one. I have never seen it at all my years of cruising. I’m trying to imagine just how crowded it would be if people brought three or four friends with them into the lounges. 🙅🏼‍♀️

Free is a bit of a misnomer 🙂 But there can be some pretty good perks from losing your money in the casino! I try to lose just enough to make it where I come out slightly ahead, we shall see if that holds over time.
