We are on Odyssey at the end of Sept and we are hoping that because of the port intensive days the pools will not be as busy and cannot wait. Having been on Anthem twice last year (with 1000 and 1500 pax) . I think a lot of people have been spoilt (if that is the correct word) due to cruises not being full due to the start up after the pandemic but I feel we need to start remembering that cruise lines are wanting to be as full as possible. Each ship will have its own pull on people weather it be the ship itself or the ports it visits. My favourite ship at the minute is Indy but might change my mind in October as we sail on Oasis out of NJ. Happy Cruising.

Now they sound very nice indeed, am sure our granddaughter will help me out trying these.

You can call (We do) and arrange it all. If you want to upgrade then they will give you an upgrade price. We have a 7 night trip on Oasis middle of October out of NJ and sorted it all out over the phone as we are taking our eldest Granddaughter, then a week later her mum (eldest Daughter) decided to jump on board so had to call again and sort it out, all done and a a little extra cost. Our free cruise has ended up costing a lot more due to flights from the UK and back but it is what it is and it is only 3 weeks after we have sailed on Odyssey around the Med. cannot wait.

As soon as I book it, whenever that is! be it a couple of months to a year out, the countdown is on my phone making the the kids moan and groan when I tell them! 😁

Thanks for all the tips, we are on Odyssey at the end of September for a nine night and are really looking forward to it. Looking at the bit about Santorini I quickly went onto the app and checked, we have an excursion booked with RC ( village and winery tour), so am assuming that they will arrange the timings for us to get the off with the rest of the group going. First thing the DW looks at is when the kids holidays/half terms are! lol.

My DW has been prime the last 2 years but has only received correspondence from the US Casino Royale and it cost us £166 to sort out the cruise as we had to call Miami !!! Any additional items we have to pay a foreign transaction fee, so our free cruise is not so free (taxes, flights etc), sorry complimentary. Can we sort it through the UK number in the future or any add on's?

Thanks for that, yes I have been back to check, we will be getting a taxi to NY and a transfer to the port and back. We are still undecided what to do from NY to JFK on the return. We have booked the hotel for overnight the day before the cruise and will be in contact with them regarding leaving our luggage upon our return.

We are on the 16th Oct Sailing so might miss quite a few, but like you say nowhere near as many in the summer!

LOL, great. Really looking forward to it, waiting in a line for her to be tested is a very small price to pay to get away for 7 nights.

Hope there are less children travelling mid Oct when we travel with our granddaughter.

My Wife called when we got this and booked it for our 9 night Odyssey cruise at the end of September. A good deal in my eyes.

So do the new top picture cups work on the Freestyle coke machines?

How would they work on the coke machines then? Are they chipped?

Need a bit of help, My DW and I are travelling with our adult daughter and 6 YO GD for a 7 night cruise out of NJ in October (Oasis) , now comes the interesting bit. We fly into JFK on the Saturday need to get to NY to the hotel then the next morning get to NJ for the cruise and upon return from the cruise back to NY for about 6 hours (being able to leave our luggage whilst we look around a bit) before needing to get to JFK for our flight. If anyone can give any advice to help us out it would be much appreciated.

Every time we sail from Southampton we take a walk to Ocean Village and have pre cruise breakfast at The Maritimo Lounge, it is a nice setting and the food is very good and reasonably priced. It also passes time whilst waiting to get to the terminal to board the ship. Would recommend it.

Agree to all of the above! Have watched the first two episodes and nothing rocks my boat at all. Not too impressed and wont be sailing with Virgin.

You will find that yes they do offer buy one get one half price but the price is not the original pre cruise price you where hoping to get. It will most certainly be at the higher price. I would pre purchase at a price I deem acceptable and am comfortable with paying.

Totally agree! We Brits normally do seem to get the thick end of the wedge in prices!
