If you look beyond the Caribbean the demographic all changes again. European cruises with Celebrity are definitely a mixed bag. Whereas HAL is like a floating retirement home! 🤣

We prebooked our first 2 nights. Then there was nothing available to book when on board. But, as I’ve said, we got in the MDR at the time we wanted without a pager. And, we got a window seat twice. That’s never happened to us before!

Well, I was on this same cruise (2 of us in our 60’s) and had a different experience! service in the MDR was impeccable, including service from our sommelier. Had anytime dining, chose 7-7.30 and never once got a pager! Always, got a seat at any bar I cared to drink at. Most kids were better behaved than some of the old farts that took up residence in il baccio ALL day! Though it is the 1st cruise that’s been full to capacity that I’ve been on. So noticeably busy.

Lagunitas IPA on tap was an extra $1 on the Silhouette last week.

No, it depends on your data contract with your service provider surely? Nowadays most have data roaming included, thus no need to switch off! Note how I didn't resort to the “if you don’t do it like me, you’re doing it wrong” motif. 😉

Since their inception, have always used them in checked luggage. Even more so nowadays with the turmoil at airports! Also have them secreted in our cars and ebikes!

For a lot of us, its not the pre-boarding test that’s an issue. It’s that it currently must be supervised/proctored. Remove that stipulation and it makes testing alot cheaper and easier!
