I've cruised both Carnival and Royal since the menu change. Was super disappointed with Royal. I was very pleased with carnival (Feb 2024). The Emerils selection menu choices were all excellent when I ordered them.
It's increasing by 10 per person per day if you book ahead of time. Was $59 per person per day so going up to $69 per person per day. Getting ridiculous

IAH is significantly further away from Galveston than Hobby is. I would for certain book flights to hobby. 45 minute drive vs 1.5 hour drive to the terminal.
No. They made my wife who was pregnant get it because I wanted it. They wouldn't lower her to a soda package instead. Very strict on that which is annoying. There should be SOME exemptions
I sailed on the Vista last year for a Valentine's/Super bowl cruise. They played the game on the lido deck and theater and had activities around the ship for the game.
Have a trip planned for 2023 but was looking to book another for 2024 as well. It seems since I booked my 2023 cruise, prices have nearly doubled for similar sailing even with the current sale. Is this a bad time of the year to book?
