  1. I am a huge fan of NOT being tracked. We have cruised since the 80's without being tracked and have always had a great time. Other than marketing and possibly selling that information to third parties, what use does Princess have for it? Why does Princess need to know EXACTLY where we are on the ship? We resisted getting smart phones until it became apparent that we needed them for international travel to contact family in the event of an emergency. As for being tracked at home, I once worked for a lawyer who wrote up small print on contracts and he told me, in rather strong language, to ALWAYS read the small print which I do, y es I am one of those tiresome people 😉 because the small print is never in favour of the consumer. But by doing that, I have done my best to voluntarily avoid giving third party companies access to my information. Does this stop everything? Oh hell no. But if it makes me feel better and DOESN'T AFFECT ANYONE ELSE, why does it matter to anyone else. My life, my choice. Ok, getting of my soapbox now, please hold the applause or throwing of tomatoes. ROFL
  2. There is also a tour called the Pristine Sistine where you are in the Sistine Chapel at 7:00am before the crowds. You then have breakfast in the Pinecone Courtyard and do the rest of the Vatican Museums. And did you know you can climb St. Peter's Dome??
  3. We are booked on our first HAL next year and can't wait to experience a CRUISE again. We are definitely fans of the smaller ships. Our first HAL cruise, since cancelled, was on the Volendam in on of the Lanai cabins. We plan on trying that again at some time.
  4. To be honest, I'm going to be SO thrilled to be back onboard after all the cancelled cruises that I don't care what class of ship it is. 🙂 Just give me Crooners and Vines and I'm good. Oh and the still-warm chocolate chip cookies, Oh, and the Fettucine Alfredo. Oh, and....I could go on. LOL
  5. Many thanks to all replies. Guess I'll be using it then. 🙂
  6. We had to use ArriveCan in April...full disclosure, I'm Canadian...and I found it easy to use. 🙂
  7. I've been hearing a bit about this but it seems limited to certain airlines and cruise lines at the moment. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has used it and their experience using it.
  8. We are on the Regal for the Transatlantic in November. It will be our first cruise on the Royal class ships. Looking forward to hearing your reviews. Have a great cruise.
  9. Oh dear...I didn't realize both posts worked. One never showed. 🙄
  10. We are on the Regal for the Transatlantic in November. Thanks so much for the pictures.
  11. We are on the Regal in November for the Transatlantic. Your pictures are making me want to be there NOW!!! LOL
  12. I am laughing so hard right now my co-workers are wondering what's going on. I'm going to get some popcorn and settle in for a rip roaring ride.
  13. I didn't think it was worth it. Then I did a spreadsheet, yes I do that 😉 LOL, and to my surprise on longer trips it is very worth it.
  14. Following with interest. We have this booked next year.
  15. There is always the bus....or walking. LOL 😉
  16. Thanks to all for the answers. Cab it is!!
  17. I did a search but didn't find anything recent. Can anyone please tell me the cost of the Princess transfer from the port to the Fort Lauderdale airport. Is it worth it or would a cab be better. We normally fly out of Miami so we always get the transfer.
