I booked two cruise on Beyond in March 2022, both SV cabins, one 7 days in 2023 premium drink and internet $600 OBC for $3800 all in 2 guests. Also a 10 day in 2024 premium drink and internet $800 OBC $5100 all in 2 guests. I feel like I got a "good" deal. Not quite the $2500 all in 2 guests, premium drinks & internet $600 OBC I got back in March 2020 that was lift and shifted to March 2022 on Apex. Don't think I'll see a deal like that anytime soon on E-class ships...

Been on 2 NCL cruises…tried Celebrity in March. Wow, what a wake up between them. NCL nickel and dimes you for everything. Not sure I’ll go back to NCL. Already have 2 more cruises booked on Celebrity. Tried looking at a comparable 2024 cruise on NCL’s new ships and went straight to book another Celebrity cruise. NCL was a lot more plus the on board nickel and dime BS. Unless I can get on NCL’s new ships at a lower price than a luxury cruise line like Celebrity, I’m likely done with NCL.

It's Celebrity's "Flag Ship" it will have the "best of the best" in regards to most of the crew.

If your on an E-class chances are good that Eden will be fully booked by the time your on the ship. Personal decision, save a little $ or guarantee your ability to dine where and when you want..

I currently have 2 Celebrity cruises booked and am buying pretty much anything I can now(specialty dinning, excursions...)with fuel prices, the last two years of losing money, the cruise company's are going to make it up somehow. I was thinking of booking a Beyond pool cabana when it was $150 its now $250 I will be passing on that...

Do I need to cancel my 2 cruises booked with Celebrity? I like beer and pretzels.

I've only had the premium drink pkg on Celebrity... An upgrade from classic to premium is about $18 per day. For me its totally worth it, but you would have to determine that yourself. The drink menus and prices should be available to you on the app, do some calculations and see if it's worth it for you.

Guess the $75+ I tipped the bar servers wasn't enough 😞

Thats my point, Celebrity = 2 cards, 2 drinks, 1 person. NCL = 2 cards, 4 drinks, 1 person.

My only complaint about Celebrity vs. NCL is how the beverage pkg. works on for Celebrity. On Celebrity it's one drink per person with the drink package, so if you want to grab drink for you and your partner you need both cards... NCL was (at least on my final cruise with NCL) two drinks per person, so you could actually grab your partner a drink without their card. Other than that, everything IMO is better on Celebrity. The basic drink pkg is up to $9 for everything (beer, mixed drinks, wine) Not a huge wine drinker here, but on Apex I did not see many $9 or less glasses of wine... If you go over the $9 your account is charged the difference plus 20% gratuity. Apex does not have a basketball court, there is table tennis, cornhole (bags) boards, pool volleyball... Apex is the reason I will probably never get on a NCL ship again (my last NCL cruise was on Encore)

I don't ever recall being searched before leaving the ship in port...Getting back on is obviously different.

I love the E-class ships, was only on Apex, but was I absolutely loved it. I have 2 more cruises booked on Beyond. I can't really comment on the IV staterooms because I've only been in aft cabins on all my cruises, doubt I'd like them, but will probably never know. Any issues I had on Apex were Celebrity issues, not the ship.

A lot of folks like the cold A/C in the Caribbean, because its typically very hot in the Caribbean in July.

Just "miss" the departure, cruise lines seem to have no problem leaving passengers behind at a port, just turn the tables and "leave" them behind. Getting off with all your luggage may be an whole other issue however.

Just pay the $250 fine and smoke where you please.

I typically take $75 in $5's and $25 in singles and distribute where I feel the need. I usually tip the room steward $50-$100 and that comes from my casino winnings... 🙂

Its fresh water for about the first hour of the day, after that its a mix of water, sunscreen, booze, and who knows what else, by about 3pm on a sea day you cant see the bottom of the pool. 🙂

I thought about purchasing this for a cruise I was on in March, decided against it. I think in the future I will purchase it or figure some other plan out. The reason is Celebrity's drink policy, 1 drink per person, if you want to enjoy some drinks on your balcony, your really not enjoying drinks on your balcony because your having to run to a bar to get a fresh one every time. On my first day I tried to order a "bucket of beers" at the pool bar to take back to my cabin, to be told I was stupid to pay for them when I had the drink pkg. and was shamed into not buying them. As much as I dis-like NCL for nickel and diming you, at least they allow 2 drinks per person...

Other than never removing the "do not disturb" from outside the door I doubt it. I was on Apex in March and told our room steward face to face on one occasion to just empty the trash and fresh towels for the day. She did up the whole cabin in the morning and evening after the request.

I would highly recommend Eden and book it now, it will be sold out by the time you get on the ship.

Had 3 adults in a standard balcony cabin and will never do it again.

Must be HORRIBLE to get off the ship after only being on it for 16 hours.

Was considering a solo October cruise on Infinity, I love the itinerary and IMO a great deal. Defiantly re-considering after hearing the horror stories going on. I get it that its the first cruise on this ship in 2 years, but these issues are not a "rusty crew" it sounds like the ship is in dis-repair and maybe shouldn't be sailing. I can get past a rusty crew, defiantly not a rusty ship...
