  1. You have to pay for shore excursions when you book them.
  2. We used Rome Cabs a few years back. We left a backpack (I know, how dumb) in the car. Black interior, black bag. My husband thought I had it. We were on the ship waiting for our rooms to be ready and I asked DH where the bag was. He turned white and said I thought you had it. His wallet was in there. Went into full panic mode. DH went off the ship to see if it was turned in meanwhile I called Stephanie. He said the driver found it in the back seat and handed it to an officer from the ship. He asked me to call him back when it was recovered. Such a happy ending to a very stressful time when I saw DH boarding the ship with bag in hand. I can’t say enough good things about the integrity of this company. We have transfers and tours booked for next year.
  3. So right you are! My mistake. We always enjoy sailing in the Med with more Europeans. We can’t wait to sail the Sun Princess next summer and the Star in 2025.
  4. Interesting that they are trying for the can’t/won’t pay for their college loan age group instead of the have time and money group.
  5. We had a fantastic time on the beautiful Regal Princess this past summer. British Isle cruise. She is a beautiful ship. Have a fantastic time!!
  6. Our 2025 Star Princess dropped significantly a couple of weeks ago. Our CVP took care of the details.
  7. I found that as well. Looked at a cruise for 2025, had to make a deposit to hold
  8. How much was the taxi from pier to hotel and hotel to airport? We booked the same hotel for a futuro cruise. So great to hear it was a good hotel
  9. We booked business class and didn’t have to pay until final. We did however pay early. Need to be careful. Our experience was that even when we paid we weren’t ticketed. When I call and requested that they ticket our flights, they were going to change the flights we were holding to a much worse schedule . After over an hour on the phone, I was finally able to get them to ticket us on the flights we originally scheduled. It was a very frustrating experience.
  10. Why would you think Alaska would have a lounge in ATL? Not a big market for that airline
  11. We booked Delta with EZ Air. Our flights showed up in the Delta app and we were able to get seats. No issues with the free baggage.
  12. We sailed on the Regal out of Southampton in July. Most people dressed nicely. Only saw a few tuxedos.
  13. We had reserve dining on the Regal in July. We never waited for a table and we were always seated in the same section with a fantastic waiter. Loved the experience.
  14. We got the same for our cruise in July. Also had Premier package
  15. Signature restaurant is for suites, reserve is for the reserve class mini suites
  16. There are a couple well done videos on YouTube. Also pull up the specific ship on the website and go the the staterooms. It lists the benefits.
  17. We got there just before 10, had to wait until the luggage conveyor belts started up, then went inside the building. Check in was super fast, we were on by 11:15. Could not put carry on in the stateroom, but they were available around 1 pm. The check in was very organized and smooth. We had a fantastic time. Enjoy your cruise!
  18. Recently on the Regal they had a dress to impress night. Nothing about white and gold
  19. Sailed on the Regal from the Ocean Terminal. We were there early. No special line for check-in, but there was a lounge for Elites, suites and Platinum. Check-in was a breeze. Lots of very helpful people working at the pier. Happy sailing!!
  20. By asking to have someone who is not in a reserve class mini puts the poor host/hostess in a unfortunate situation. Why do that?
  21. No. It’s only for Reserve mini suites and full suites. You can always eat with your friend in the MDR.
  22. I was able to use a VPN for emails, but the app itself wouldn’t work with the VPN on.
  23. So sorry to hear your news - on both counts. It’s great your dog will be OK and there will be many more cruises. Hope your credit shows up soon!
