This whole alleged confiscation seems so out of the norm. Perhaps it really did happen and the Oceania person made the decision to confiscate the rum for a valid reason…….🥴 since nothing else makes sense.
There is a separate thread on this topic. Your comment about cancellation fees being used as a future cruise credit does not seem to align with what I was seeing in that thread. Perhaps it was updated and I missed it.
Not what we experienced on our cruise in May and the two tender ports. They used the port authority to transfer. Never used the lifeboats on the ship at all. It was actually a pretty smooth operation and in both instances the tender boats were fine. Crowded yes but you had rows of benches.
Wonder if our friends we travel with may have a similar feeling about us! 🤔. Perhaps we should start a new slogan, Friends don’t let Friends Travel Together.
Come on now, I think we all know it was Regent being referred to! It shows as Regent in the expanded signature. Play nice now!!! 😉 Autocorrect can be our worst enemy.
I guess it would probably skew a bit to the positive side since it is the Oceania site, and…..it is actually an excellent cruise line. However, I suggest you dig a bit deeper as there are also many that are less than all sunshine and rainbows.
Perhaps your hotel where staying could assist? Or perhaps they have a secured ATM on premises that could be used just prior to boarding? Or perhaps even at the cruise terminal? I’ve seen it mentioned also before that some ships may have them at the casino.
As in most all restaurants there are quieter and noisier areas. Just don’t always have a choice. We actually had a rather noisy seat at Toscana also, but still enjoyed it. We were a party of three and not sure if that had a negative impact on our seating placement or not.
