  1. As far as the city buses I have a pretty good memory I do not remember ever seeing "wheelchair lifts" with that being said I can't imagine there not being away to get to where you are wanting to go comfortably on your own. "On your own" on Aruba is the only way to go, you can work that out. Have fun.
  2. Screaming Eagle?? So where does the jet boat take you?? You zip around the island waving at everybody like they did on Barbados for $175 a pop for about 2 1\2 hours??πŸ–•That was 20 years ago.😳 Do we at least get taken to a beach that's not on the map? Could be something to consider for those of us who would enjoy doing something new on the island.
  3. Take the ferry to St. John and spend the day over there, catch the 5pm ferry back to St. Thomas. St. John was not on your list, it's definitely a consideration.
  4. Sounds nice I've just never done those tours, there's all kinds of great tours on Belize. Those sound like good ones too. Glass bottom boat sounds awesome. It would be a tour I would definitely consider. Have fun whatever you decide.
  5. Relax Ken!!πŸ˜‚ I didn't call you liar I would never do something like that. Here we go again.😳 Was in Roatan 2016. Went to the beach I couldn't see anything but seaweed. Took the taxi back to the welcome center sat at the bar the rest was history. I got an idea this is simply just something to consider. On the your next cruise, a beach you might think seaweed could be an issue that you were planning on visiting, take a rake with you Ken, a couple of them. Or go to a beach buy a day pass at a resort where every morning the seaweed is removed from the manicured beach by a tractor with a sled behind it, seen it. Otherwise Kenny grab a rake. 🀭🀭😜😁
  6. No problem that happens. I told you before, ***** rant scream yell. We want a nice new bar and NICE restaurant at Magens Bay and a PHAT snack bar half way down the beach that serves buckets of Stella's.😁 They've choked that place out, they're thinking small. We want beer food and money not necessary in that order in a setting that compliments Magens Bay. Thanks homes.🌟🌟🌟🌟
  7. $10 fee increase seems extremely reasonable especially for a nice little day at Nachi. Nachi always a winner. Give them the $10 increase quit acting like a cheeseloaf cheapskate and go chill out at Nachi a have some fun.πŸ™„
  8. Thanks for the clarification. I hadn't figured that out yet.πŸ™„ It's still HILARIOUS!! You sure it's not a restaurant in Van Nuys? LMAO!!! I'm just kidding jeez.
  9. Hey Ms411 if you hear or read about any updates with the new concessions contract at Magens Bay please keep us updated. Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing which direction that actually goes. Appreciate it.
  10. Yes!!! Please share you experience. Thanks Can't wait to hear about this oneπŸ₯ΊπŸ«€
  11. Hey I have a question if you were traveling solo which day pass would you recommend Avila or Mambo? Probably Avila? Sounds nice, Mambo may be a bit crowded? Crowds I can do without. Thank you. We did the Santa Barbara Resort Day Pass last time on the island, the resort is no longer the Santa Barbara. Sandals bought the property, I don't think they sell days pass anymore or didn't last year. Or I would go back there. That property is awesome, that's why Sandals bought it. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
  12. If you want to see underwater wildlife I would recommend taking the Goff's Caye Tour. Water crystal clear and ocean full of everything. Keep walking out on the flats the further you go it's hard telling what you'll see out there. Water is really never any more than 7 ft. most is 3-5 feet deep, water is glass nothing but life and calm. Lots of wildlife. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘Œ
  13. GREAT IDEA!! Learn something new every day!! I will absolutely remember that next time, tickets in advance BOTH WAYS. I'm still learning. Thanks for your patience. πŸ€œπŸ€›
  14. Good grief it's not like that. The beaches I go to I know ahead of time whether or not they're inundated with Sargassum and whether or not I can enjoy myself on that beach or not. I've been dealing with that crap for a long time. Sargassum and the Caribbean it comes with the territory you learn how to work around it in some capacity. Cozumel has been getting alot of it, I never saw that yes it's been several years since I was in Cozumel but all that Sargassum never saw any of that. St. Kitts yep, but not so bad I couldn't enjoy the beach. Or it was an issue that kept me from having a great day on that beach. Or I would go to another beach or do a pool on a day pass. St. Maarten Orient Beach I heard the Sargassum was dreadful over there, I never saw anything beach is awesome, water absolutely full of life of every kind. No seaweed. Orient Beach on the Frenchie😁😎😁side is some of the nicest water in the Eastern Caribbean come to think of it. Seaweed or no Seaweed it would never keep me out of the water at Orient.
  15. Yes a few minutes after the hour not 5 minutes though. Trust me on that.🫀
  16. Btw Thanks PORT ROYAL for the link to the bus schedules. Those are great thank you. See I could trust that.
  17. YES!! The BUS. I checked that last time on the island. I don't trust anything else but the Bus. That's why I didn't go, because a taxi up and back for a solo was I think $120+tip. Lunch drinks another $100. It's a $250 day easily by the time you get back to the ship. Unless I'm buying treats for family members I try and keep my daily island budget to $200. The bus it seems is the only way reliablely and financially to get to and from Bathsheba and back. Bathsheba is too far from the port not to have a set time and set ride. I would love to get back to Bathsheba it's absolutely worth the ride up there, but you gotta have everything in order before you commit to that. I couldn't find anyone else on our roll call who wanted to go I wasn't going to go by myself.
  18. Yes a taxi is the only way to go, but it costs an arm and a leg to get there and back. I would love and have tried to go back to Bathsheba but for a solo cruiser it's almost impossible.
  19. Ms411 you do much fishing? Not necessarily deep sea fishing but surf fishing or dropping a line out in a bay fishing? My buddy for almost 9 years ran the campground at Water Island that's all he did was fish, he's a pro. It's what I do on my spare time. He caught fish all the time and they cooked them up at the Bolongo Bay resort. His pictures the fish looked yummy. My sister just brought back some white sea bass from the Bahamas, fresh caught fresh frozen. Looking forward to trying some this weekend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
  20. The rum distillery with lunch at Marigot with beach time?? That sounds wonderful. Sounds like a blast too!! Nice!!
  21. Hey Thanks!! Those are some great recommendations the Lucian Food Tour sounds AWESOME. So does Ti Kaye and Calabash Cove, thank you very much reedprincess appreciate the great info. I love the food on St. Lucia by the way Herod Stanislaus his mom and dad can COOK authentic Lucian YUMMY food. I had lunch at his house about 12 year's ago it was a TREAT!! So yummy, plus sitting out on Herods front porch having lunch looking at The Pitons doesn't hurt a thing either. Love the food specifically on St. Lucia so YUMMY. Thanks again.
  22. I would love to do an 80's cruise. I'm still stuck in 1980 and proud of it. Every time I found a themed cruise like that it wasn't a very long cruise just several days and I'm not sure I would have an interest in that type of sailing.
  23. Yes it has nothing to do with not meeting people or not having dinner with other folks it's about having my own space in my own cabin for the time that I'm in there. I love meeting people love having dinner with them, y'all ain't staying with me in my cabin.πŸ˜‰ If I ever took the old lady on another cruise she gets her own(inside) cabin at the front of the ship😁😁😁 and I get the Lido Deck Mini Suite. Yep inside front of the ship, I get the Lido Deck Mini Suite, RIGHT!!!
