@Ocean Boy here they are. Before After the second manipulation because they weren’t happy with the placement. Lots of swelling after 5 hours. We are supposed to hear from the fracture clinic today at our Children's Hospital.

We have them. I can post later if you are curious. Today I have 5 hours with my mom at the hospital for her pre-op for her hip replacement in early July.

7 hours and McDonalds for Father’s Day dinner while driving home. Not the day we envisioned. Lisa has already been emailing his teachers as he has 4 days left with 2 projects and 1 test. The one teacher already said do not sweat it. We also CCed the principle and his guidance councillor. Three of the classes Owen had ball teammates. I found out what they did. 2 sedations, 2 casts after two “realignments”, and 3 X-rays. From what Lisa understood it was a dislocated wrist, and multiple fractures. She heard the, pop the wrist back in and watch them do both alignments. He still has a temporary cast, until he sees the fracture clinic at our local children’s hospital. The DRs at the hospital we were at today hoped that we would hear from them tomorrow with the reference. For those that are queasy maybe don’t look.

latest update from Lisa. Doctor was just in…said it looks like the placement is good…going to get us a script for pain and a referral for London. I think we will still be here for a while and then get the script before we head home. They’re already checking that for pharmacies that will be open into the evening hours. I’m hoping in an hour or so we might be on our way home.

Thankfully not. His last day of school is on Thursday and he has a couple things going on for marks this week. One is a multiple-choice test. One is a drama presentation. And the other is an assignment that the teacher will give out on Tuesday which is due Wednesday. I’m not sure how he’s going to get this all done or if the teachers will just let him go upon his average mark. For some reason I highly doubt he’ll be at school tomorrow.

Further update. So we’re still at the hospital waiting for the second set of x-rays. Lisa and Owen just went in to get them. If they don’t like them after that it’s surgery.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I’ll keep you posted as more goes on. We’re about 1 hour from home so whenever this concludes we thankfully Don’t have a long drive. Now fortunately tomorrow I get to spend five hours at the hospital with my mom , and she’s getting ready for her surgery replacement in early July. I’m thankful these places exists but would love to never be at them.

Update from Lisa… So they couldn’t get it all the way back in…they are casting it at the moment, and we will be getting an X-ray and waiting to see the surgeon. Surgery is likely

Update from Lisa. X-ray done. Just waiting for the procedure to be done and another X-ray to confirm it is set properly. Owen’s team also lost.

Well here’s an update from the ball tournament. We were winning 1/0 top of the third. Owen made two great catches for outs in the outfield. It was his first at bat and as he was running to first, the first baseman got the throw from third. First baseman was well off the base line and had to tag Owen for the out except he was a great distance away. Instead of tagging Owen with control he hit them with such force that Owen flew in the air. He physically bodychecked him. So now we are at the hospital emerge. Owen has a broken wrist. Their player was ejected. I’m waiting in the car because only one person is allowed to go in with them. They’re actually going to put him to sleep to set the wrist. He is in a lot of pain and is also pissed.

They won, and came from behind in the bottom of the last inning. Final was 9-7 and we beat a team that was very high on themselves. A wonderful night.

Ball game update. Owen’s team won 15-2 over 6 innings, but it was a slow start. We used 1 pitcher the entire game. So they are now 2/0 and have to win the game at 6pm against the other team that is 2/0 in their division. Top in each division move on (3 teams) and the team with the best record (wild card team) move on to play Sunday. I think I forgot to mention where we are playing, Brantford Ontario. The birth-town of…

Thanks for the wishes Lenny. I’d like to think the fathers that we have lost are sitting together tomorrow enjoying the day with each other.

I know a guy who has done 2 trips in the last 3 months to Germany. One to Leipzig and one to Stuttgart. Amazing photos from his journey. 😁

Two games today at 11:15 and 6:00. Reports to come later. Wind has slowed down some, gusts were 60kph all day yesterday and dropping to 45 today. Sun is shining as well. High in the 20C range.
