It’s been so hot at night someone isn’t even sleeping in the barn. Lots have cut with the nice forecast here. Even at our place. There were storms off in the distance but not here. Temps are dropping which is good because we have another ball tournament this weekend.

A photo dump from my phone from the last week. The corn should be knee high by the first of July. Owen had a ball game on Tuesday. They won 13-3. I enjoyed this husky rolling in the snow from the Zamboni dump from the ice rink. I wasn’t quick enough to get the pic of it rolling in the snow. Around 10:15 or so the Strawberry Moon made an appearance. The new LED lights are spectacular at our ball park. Not a dim area in the field. Owen says it’s easy to lose pop flies in the light.

Just watched the latest two episodes of Below Deck sailing and Down Under. I still have to say that I’m not a fan of Down Under. Culver, what are you doing. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Report from our home, about our home. The house currently cold enough right now that I’m having a hot chocolate. 😀 2 washers and dryer sets. One on main level and one in our walking closet upstairs. hot water tank with a timer and blanket, in the basement. water comes from a drilled well, 300’+ deep. No other option. tertiary septic system. No sewer out here. AC for the house is outside, foundation wall mounted. one AC unit for each bay in the garage. no flowrider yet. only natural rabbits. That is all.

People have asked on-line if there are feral people living in National Parks. On CC, posters wonder if there are feral children in Central Park. I’ll leave that point for you all to ponder. (above not written in sarcasm font but could be🤷‍♂️)

Agreed 100%. Suspend it for two weeks, just to bring it back makes absolutely no sense. Those ministers will be on summer break/holidays and might not be able to answer any questions two weeks from now. Edit to add; our next three sets of flights we purposely booked out of Detroit just to avoid Toronto. We flew in and out of there in early April and it wasn’t a zoo leaving. However, we had to wait an hour on the plane to clear customs and we were the first 50 that they let off our plane. I could not imagine goi g through there today.

I think you will see testing stop for vaccinated for a while and after some random period of time it will be dropped for unvaccinated. I think crew will be allowed to go maskless before the unvaccinated are allowed on board though. Just my musings.

A DR being interviewed on CBC yesterday afternoon said, when asked, if it would come back end of June he said very unlikely.

I’m curious if you found your top step to be slippery yet or at all? FYI, this is our plan for tomorrow, maybe with a drive in a summer car. We did a bit of pool prep work today, and oil changes on three summer cars yesterday. Weather is going to be great tomorrow so it should wrap up with some BBQ too.
