Honestly the price of hotels around Orlando will probably be cheaper than the ones at Canaveral.

I don’t particularly like carrying a phone with me but my pacemaker is monitored 24/7 on my phone so I have no choice. But I do enjoy having the paper Cruise Compass because I like to read it before going to bed to decide what things I might like to do the next day.

Last month on the Harmony we never got one. I didn’t bother to ask the room steward as I mostly used my app. however……I did miss it so on my next cruise I am definitely going to request it every day…

As usual Royal doesn’t update their website as quickly as they change policies. You will answer 3 health questions when you do you check in where you select your time to arrive at the terminal. There is no longer a health questionnaire 24hrs before boarding and you will not have to answer any questions at the terminal….

We did My Time for years but after the Harmony changed the way they handle it we went back to Traditional several years ago and never looked back. There used to be a dining specifically saved for just My Time dining but now they use that dining room to also seat the first wave of early Traditional diners. This is the reason you cannot get a My Time reservation before 6:30-7:00pm (if you are lucky). Every single night when we would come out of early traditional dining the lines for My Time was out the dining room doors and down the hall way past the elevators…..on both sides!!! My suggestion it to change to Traditional if you can!!

I don’t see a problem with it myself. On our last cruise the little children were having such a good time looking for ducks every day. There were a couple of people on our FB board that even made it easier for the little ones to know where to look such as giving hints about what areas they might get lucky. The pictures posted of those smiling little faces were adorable. One lady had a special needs son that had looked for several days with no success. Once this mama let our group know of his disappointment one of the ladies that was hiding ducks got their cabin number and went straight up there to place several where he could find them right away!! Now that picture made me cry!!❤️❤️

Our friends were allowed to move their cruise to February but I don’t know if they incurred any penalties…..

I don’t personally have any firsthand knowledge but I see a lot of people posting positive experiences with them…

I know you said the hotel is newer……it is actually about 15+yrs old. We stayed there with my granddaughter when she was about six, she is now 21.. They do a great job keeping up their maintenance and everyone there is very nice. I hope you guys have an awesome cruise!!! We love the Mariner!!

Get use to the firm mattress!! Unless you were lucky enough to request a foam bed topper your bed on the Mariner is going to be very firm!! Same on the Harmony!! Did not love those beds…..

I am hoping for some Black Friday cruise sales too because right now the prices of cruises are just crazy!! We want to book something for after the first of the year but I am waiting for some better pricing…

Just had friends a couple of days ago move a cruise from this Sunday on the Harmony to a cruise in February. I don’t know if they were being lenient because of the hurricane…..
