  2. Just saw a post a few minutes ago from someone onboard and they were still sitting outside the channel. They are not giving them any word as to when they might expect to get back into Tampa…..
  3. I would find a good travel agent and let them handle things for you. Ours has been invaluable…..
  4. As you well know there are multiple restaurants along the port area and I highly doubt very few if any are going to bother to take this advice. Most would rather stand outside the doors of the terminal forever and complain. Just trying to help out those that may want a more civilized wait….😎
  5. I would just check my luggage and take the 2 minute stroll down the sidewalk to Grills and enjoy some food and drinks…..instead of getting in the middle of the huge crowd trying to get into the terminal!!
  6. We like to pay upfront just to have them out of the way. One less thing to have to pay once onboard….😎😎
  7. I believe most all the rental car agencies have free shuttles to the port. Just drop your family and luggage off at the port and then return the car. That way you aren’t dragging luggage and it will just be you….
  8. Uber would be your best bet……we are in our 70’s and have no problem using their app….😎

  10. After 50+ cruises I have never felt the dining staff was intrusive. Sorry……but being rude to the staff for just trying to be sure everything is to their liking is being rude.
  11. We love interacting with the wait staff and taking the time to get to know them. They are trying their best to do a good job and I try my best to be considerate of that… If we want to hang out and visit with our friends we do it after dinner….

  13. Exactly what we do!! Last cruise we were behind a family of six where only the Dad had the documents on his phone. They were still scrolling and scrolling when we were allowed to go around them.
  14. We stayed there many times but stopped about 2yrs ago. Had too many issues over several stays that made us not want to go back…. In my opinion there are many other nicer and better places to stay….
  15. Last few cruise were on the Harmony and every single night when we came out of early fixed dining the line was huge! And on formal nights it was even worse!!
  16. Our last few cruises were on the Harmony and they charges literally showed up immediately. Maybe they are on a different kind of system….I have no idea…🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  18. Absolutely not questioning you, but that’s really weird. Our accounts are also linked with one credit card and when we check the account on our app it shows each drink purchase and which person’s sea pass it was charged to. So we can easily count up and see how many each one of us has left…..because it lists them all….
  19. We had this happen on Royal and they had a lot of nice busses waiting to take people back to their vehicles. Wait time was less than 15min. I bet Carnival will do the same….
  20. There are no “cruise people” there to take your luggage because it’s the porters job to do that. I guess I don’t understand what the big deal is. After paying hundreds of dollars for a nice cruise the last thing I worry about is handing the porter a measly $5 to take our two pieces of checked luggage. So sorry you want to start your vacation off on such a sour note…..
  21. It’s really funny that your account status is immediately available on the app as soon as a purchase is made and yet people cannot bother to check that to see how many drinks they have left….
  22. The MTD lines on EVERY Oasis class ships are long and wrap around the elevators. This is the reason many of us have gone back to fixed traditional dining…. Never go to the Windjammer during peak times as it is always crowded on every Oasis class ship! Every sailing we have been on we have heard them making announcements “if you have finished your meal please exit so someone can have your seat”. I am sure the whole ship is full and busy but it sounds like it was pre-covid to me….

  24. The hotter the weather the bigger this problem is for me. What I try to do is drink a lot of bottled water. I also take some compression socks that I will wear for awhile while in the cabin with my feet elevated just to keep them from getting out of control. But if you Google this subject it is very common…..
