  1. Agree 100% - you have never seen and never will see anything like the contents of The Treasury at the Palace.
  2. Having read this it will never knowingly pass my lips. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/tilapia-fish
  3. Apologies if this has come up before but while Millennium class ships have been listed before in a fairly anonymous way, this is the first time I have seen a named ship listed and showing deck plans etc. https://www.yachtworld.co.uk/yacht/2002-cruise-ship---2038-2450-passengers----stock-no.-s2348-5965073/
  4. I find that, on the whole, anything works.
  5. Eclipse was dry docked in March 2021 for hull inspection, maintenance and change of hull colour, dry docked again in May 2022 to remove marine growth. Shouldn't require again till 2026
  6. As Ambience has gone straight into dry dock in Bremerhaven, the issues must run much deeper than lifeboats, air conditioning or door locks!
  7. Ambition is 24 years old and heading into her final years, currently chartered to the Scottish Government to house refugees and berthed in Glasgow. She will require renovation before cruising commences. Ambience is almost 32 years old and not surprising that there are issues. I wouldn't be confident about Ambassador's success.
  8. They are neither a balcony or veranda by definition, just Celebrity misleading marketing hype.
  9. The one Celebrity took us to was horrendous, very threatening and high pressure - uncomfortable to say the least. Try to avoid Ephesus in the morning as it is usually extremely busy first thing. Afternoon tends to be quieter. Time of year needs to be taken into account though as can be very hot July and August.
  10. We always put these on our cases when travelling, total protection for little outlay 2 pcs Clear PVC Suitcase Cover Clear Waterproof Scratchproof PVC Luggage Cover Suitcase Protector Cover Travel Luggage Trolley Case Cover (26) : Amazon.co.uk: Fashion
  11. Chalk and cheese in my opinion. Celebrity certainly in the past would have been streets ahead of NCL. I know quite a few who have tried NCL and were disappointed. I saw photos of drinks at the pool in disposable plastic cups and that was pre covid.
  12. The daily dress code applies to all restaurants and the theatre "The dress code will be enforced at all restaurants. And guests are asked to follow the Smart Casual or Evening Chic dress code in the Celebrity Theater for all evening performances. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening."
  13. Quite possible it's movement of the module causing the noises
  14. Possibly or move them to a different cabin if necessary, If the issue isn't reported how will they know there's an issue?
  15. You are sleeping in a container module that is fitted into the ship's superstructure or hull depending on location - there is bound to be flexing and creaking in bad weather. All ships are different. Never been on a ship yet that isn't noisy in a storm. If excessive I would talk to Guest Relations.
  16. You do NOT mention Guinness in County Cork! The Cork brewed Murphy's Irish Stout is far superior and many locals consider ordering Guinness offensive!
