Preferable to vaping !!!!

A few years ago I was very unwell for many weeks after sitting beside someone who was vaping at a concert. Since then I have an allergy to many vaping products and can instantly feel my airways closing if I inhale any of the "smoke". The smoking ban including ban on vaping generally has been a godsend and I would never set foot on a ship that allowed it in any confined spaces,

I would take it as a compliment, they clearly didn't think you were in your 50s! Perhaps they have cruised on Celebrity, from a 30 year old's perspective on many cruises I could see where they were coming from. Clearly they would be better suited to a different cruise line.

Eclipse is only 13 years old so the most you can hope for is renewal of carpet, drapes and bedding.

There is at least one dry dock in UK capable of taking QM2 and indeed much larger. Harland & Wolff in Belfast had Queen Victoria in for maintenance last year. The facts appear to be that if there was a maintenance issue with the morgue on the ship which should be kept functional and have the ability to properly store a body for up to a week. This could easily have been on a TA with no ports so really all the other issues are irrelevant - it's the fact that the morgue was apparently not functioning as required is the only issue.

How nice Bruges is irrelevant in this case, a 7 night Norwegian Fjord cruise that doesn't get to Norway till day 4 is ridiculous imho.

I totally agree with the OP, a 7 night cruise from UK to Norwegian Fjords should not be stopping in Zeebrugge, a terrible itinerary!

Pay thousands for a cruise and have to resort to earplugs on a badly built ship - I don't think so!
