  1. I recall a diamond and up (there was no P category) section of the MDR for breakfast. Same menu but quieter and often better service. I never recall a D breakfast in any specialty restaurant. We hit D around 2005 so maybe it was prior to then. I also recall D+ were sometimes allowed in the specialty breakfast restaurant but we're talking back in 2007 . I think it was the discretion of the HD. Scarry thought - one day we'll look back at today and call this the "good old days" M
  2. For breakfast and lunch solarium bistro has become basically a small windjammer. Years ago, they served healthier options, but more recently we find the breakfast and lunch hot items are often the same as the windjammer buffet. Open seating. Dinner is more like a Mediterranean tapas restaurant/ buffet. They seat you. I believe they like you to reserve a reservation for dinner, although we have done a walk in and we’re seated. m
  3. The golf balls, and the skeet shooting, ended years and years ago. I remember both of those activities in the 80s. I suspect they ended shortly after that. m
  4. Wonderland restaurant, or Solarium Bistro on Wonder of the Seas? M
  5. It is frustrating that crown and anchor guests are given a perk with so many limitations attached. M
  6. You were quite lucky. I’ve been on dozens of non-CK ships since the start and I have never heard anything nor been offered to use the $25 voucher on any non CK ship. Perhaps you had a wait staff that used to work on an oasis class ship. I don’t know how they would have charged it since it wouldn’t have been on your benefits list, but glad it worked out. m
  7. The information should be in the welcome letter that you receive in the cabin. It is generally in one of the paragraphs rather than included in the list of benefits. Perhaps someone on this thread, has a copy of the letter. I do not. m
  8. Crown and anchor benefits are not extended to the cabin mate. m
  9. It says swimwear, but that really means men's swim trunks. The wash and fold service will disintegrate a ladies swimsuit. M
  10. I always have unused drink vouchers. I'd be happy to purchase a drink for others for just $5. I'd make good money. M
  11. One bag, per person, per cruise of 5 nights or longer. Wash and fold service. Hot water/Hot dryer. No pressing. M
  12. One time use - per Pinnacle per qualified cruise. Specific ships only and certain limitations such as not combinable with BOGO. M
  13. $25 voucher given to a pinnacle member on ships with Coastal Kitchen to compensate for not being able to get a dinner reservation every night at coastal kitchen. On some ships/sailings, Pinnacles are limited to just two dinner reservations per cruise. m
  14. Special effects of Effectors on Wonder were terrific. We saw it twice just to enjoy the effects. We watched it from a different area of the theater the second time. M
  15. Sounds like a good family show. On track with Icon. M
  16. In addition to the funnel cakes, the snack shack has a delicious (Included) chicken sandwich, hamburger, hot dog and Greek salad. Enjoy. M
  17. Where do you go to empty the trash cans? (Serious question). If I recall, trash bins near the elevators have a small opening on the side making it cumbersome to empty a trash can. Places like WJ don't have large trash bins in public areas as tables are cleaned by staff. Thanks M
  18. I wouldn't mind if the on-board IT account program is so exacting that it can distinguish which charges can be applied to OBC and which can't. That might clear up some of the redundant or incorrect charges as well. That part about not using it for gratuities has been around for a while, but has not been implemented. M
  19. You can get regular coffee, cappuccino, and espresso out of the machine. m
  20. Yes, you may each use the BOGO and have dinner for 4 people. We do it often when traveling with others. m
  21. I tell the cabin attendant not to bother with a towel animal for us. m
  22. Who told you that? If it was a TA - get a new one, fast! It can be free, (Even most of the food is included) or it can be LOTS more depending on what you want to do that day. Many don't spend a dime. Other spend thousands of dollars on an over the water cabana for the day. M M
  23. Hard to believe. Between the galley and the stair climbing, I’m quite surprised. m
