  1. Is that authorization hold only on prepaid cards? I have never seen a hold larger than what I have charged and it clears within a couple of days.
  2. The rep must have fat fingered the C&A number. We had an issue with a booking due to a C&A number but it was because, somehow, my DH ended up with two numbers. Must have been way back in the beginning of us cruising because I always used a specific number on all our bookings. During the shutdown, the cruise line did a clean up of the C&A database and got rid of duplicates and his number fell off our reservation as they kept the original. Not an issue with the fare as I have more points then him, so I am always the first name on the reservation. I noticed his number was gone when we got the cruise documents and he had no status, so our luggage tags showed no status. Took a phone call to C&A to find out what had happened. Too bad they didn't add numbers to bookings that were changed because of the clean up. Got docs reissued with right information and now have a note with both numbers just incase something happens in the future.
  3. Your booking ended up with TBD for the passengers too or was it just a dropped C&A number?
  4. That information is not correct. Everyone has their own C&A number and by linking yours to his, you should get his status. All names should have been on the booking to start with. Ask for the resolutions department, they are the ones that can fix this if it is their error.
  5. Their names should have been on the booking from the beginning. If they couldn't be put on the booking online when you booked it, a call should have been made then. Not sure you have a leg to stand on with this as you didn't address it when it happened. I would try to see if resolutions can help you.
  6. Doesn't your booking invoice show all the correct information for your husband and daughter? That should be your proof that it is a system glitch.
  7. I am pretty sure you have up until 48 hours prior to the sailing to do a name change.
  8. Is there anyone your niece knows who can go in there place? They can do a name change at no cost as long as one of the original names on the cabin remains.
  9. Natalya is really hard to work with if she doesn't get her way. I am really surprised that they brought both Kyle and her back, will be interesting to see what happens when he gets there. Tumi came in a little too aggressive but we didn't see much, so that could just be how they want us to see her. Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Natalya has another career to fall back on in the short term at least. She has been in Playboy and "models" swimwear too.

  11. We have had that issue before when we tried to check Quantum for our Alaska sailing and the ship was still in Singapore. The menus were not in the app and the ones that were, definitely were not the ones we were going to have in Alaska. People on the rollcall were all excited to see some really different entrees and were disappointed once the regular menus were in the app. I have found if I log out of the app and then log back in, errors will correct themselves.

  13. You went to Chops before your reservation from all your other posts about this, you did not do that at Giovanni's. A manager can note it on the reservation and have it set up correctly to go through, no way would I depend on a waiter to get it right.
  14. Your Giovanni's issue was an issue because you didn't go to the restaurant once you boarded and have it sorted out. By booking only one person before you boarded, so you could get the lower price, nothing was noted in the reservation that it was actually two people and the D+ BOGO.

I agree it should be on the app. We found if you scan the qr code for the compasses while you are on the ship and leave that open in your browser, you can get the port agent information while off the ship. We now scan the qr code and then screenshot the port agent page so we can access it on our phone without needing to have cell service.
  16. We have never been a fan of Giovanni’s. I would choose Chops.
  17. We sailed Oasis in May and got the letter similar to what you received. I sent an email back questioning drink availability 11 to 11 and requesting CK reservations. They replied that nothing had changed and made my reservations. The letter was definitely different than what we have received in the past on Oasis and other ships but they still took care of our requests and we were able to get drinks as usual 11 to 11.
  18. Thank you for posting this. We aren't going to Saint John but are going to Sydney, Nova Scotia as well as Halifax. Never even considered that there wouldn't be Uber. We are fine in Halifax but Sydney is out of the Uber service area. Hoping for a cab to get us to the car rental location.
  19. Breakfast in Johnny Rockets is only on Oasis class ships.
  20. We do not go to Johnny Rockets that much for breakfast anymore now that they don't do made to order omelets. The scramblers aren't made to order and not what we would order. My DH does like the pancakes though.
  21. Click the three dots in the corner and report your own post. You can tell them you made a mistake with the title and they should fix it for you.
  22. That's too bad. Just make sure you search Saint John when you are looking for things to do and not St. John. On one of our sailings, someone on the rollcall was all excited about an excursion they had booked, not realizing they had booked Newfoundland, not New Brunswick. 😄
  23. That is my concern too. I am my Mom’s primary caregiver and if I get sick, someone else needs to take care of her.
