  1. They do offer some non raw fish items on the menu.
  2. Unfortunately I don't believe they'll be able to rearrange the beds to accommodate an l-shape. I personally think it's going to be a rather tight fit with four adults women that are yet loads of fun trying to get ready with one bathroom. I did a girls trip years ago where my friend thought four adult women sharing a cabin would be a splendid idea. Luckily she agreed and gained some sense that two cabins would be more appropriate. After that two week trip, she was happy with my common sense. It came out cheaper to have two separate cabins versus four people sharing a room.
  3. As I always say, a cruise is whatever you make it to be.

  5. Once I'm bored I usually like to go to the Captain circle loyalty desk and I always ask them what the head count is for the cruise.
  6. Did you pay online for the excursion? I just want to make sure that it wasn't just selected as a wishlist.
  7. As a solo traveler bidding on a room upgrade. You always have to times it by 2 unfortunately. The joys for us solo travelers
  8. Yes the winemakers table is explicitly only on the royal class ships which include the Royal, Regal, Majestic, Sky, and the Enchanted.
  9. I've only gone solo. I've done about four chef tables and probably about six of the wine makers table dinners, which I actually kind of prefer more than the chef's table. Better value, and the food is amazing. But a completely different experience from the chef table if you have not done so already. The winemakers table was 40 bucks a person so completely doable.
  10. I'm actually on the same exact sailing on the 18th. I have menus from the Sky Princess from Thanksgiving so may be a little different as that was a sailing to the Western Caribbean and our cruises for the Eastern Caribbean. However it's a lot of photos as I screenshots to capture the entire menu from the app. Some ships do 7-day menu rotations and there are others that do 14-day menu rotations especially when they're cruising back to back between Eastern and western.
  11. There's two ways you can go about it. One you can call the dining line to request to put your name on the list. And I would also or the way I typically do it is is I go straight to One of the head waders in the main dining room and I Tell them I'm interested in the chef's table and would like my name on it. It's different on every ship and every cruise on the number of chef table dinners that they will do based on how many people request. Such a wonderful and lovely experience. Hope you enjoy!
  12. No. I usually get the coupon books as a promotional deal through my travel agent.
  13. They have two equipment chest benches that have all of the equipment you need for anything on that court including the paddles and balls for your pickleball
  14. What ship will you be sailing? I always take pictures of the menu My menu from the 7-day on Skyband Majestic is completely different with the Enchanted Princess 10-day cruise.
  15. The brand and marketing manager was a new position they added right before the pandemic shutdown. So I can contest that it is indeed an actual position. I know a couple of crew members who have been promoted and their executive like supervisor roles into this title.
  16. By the way the OP I noticed last night posted the same sob story on Instagram and stated she plastered it all over Facebook as well. So I giggled when someone mentioned that she quickly became a member today and then within 2 minutes she posted this rant. Not sure if she's looking for a sympathy while crying over spilled milk. If anyone seems to be sour it seems to be her more than her son. Or we're just not wanting to be classy and wanting to trash a company because you want freebies and dissatisfied that you didn't get something you didn't earn. I think the best part yet of all of this is the OP has not come back to respond or answered any questions on any of the three platforms she ranted on.
  17. I'm a teacher and I think you said it best in your last line that disappointment will help make you become more resilient. I teach elementary school and at the end of the year these kids all think they get a reading a medal for reading a certain amount of books. I refuse to give kids participation or a medal if it's not earned. I explain to him the things are earned and then when they are earned you are rewarded the better yet you will also gain a sense of pride for all the hard work you've accomplished. To reward you for something you didn't do is teaching someone they can get away with anything and everything. They need to know the difference.
  18. Sorry, but if he reversed the play for prizes fee from his account I have zero sympathy. That obviously showed he knew what he was doing and realized he was being charged. When he reverse something entries go bye-bye too. Yes it's exciting to know your name is being called for a grand prize. But if you took it knowing you had reversed the charges for playing you should have nothing but guilt on your shoulders for taking something you truly did not win since you knew how to go down to guest services to get your money back. I think that the Brand in marketing ambassador handle the situation very well and was extremely generous to offer the $100 on board credit in a comped specialty dining for the entire family. Princess didn't have to offer you a single thing. What kind of sympathy are you looking for from people? Everyone needs to act like an adult put a smile, carry on about your day and let's all act like adults here. Personally I would be heartbroken too knowing that I didn't win the big grand prize or anything. But then yet again my dad always tells me you have to play the lotto in order to win the lotto. My ongoing life problem. 🤣
  19. What an awesome trip you have planned with the family. I can only imagine all the wonderful memories you're going to get from that trip. And memories of penguins of course.
  20. Yes everything is self-service in the buffet on the sky.
  21. Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip with all of us. Looks like a good time was had by all.
