  1. There’s no free change and if booked direct with Carnival you would have to speak with them and depending who you get on the phone they may allow you to change but don’t bank on it
  2. Check out google and when you get out of the bus walk one block towards the ship and 5 blocks up on the left
  3. We went to that one about 10 years ago and not sure of the name of the street but if you go up past the park and about 5 blocks from the terminal and turn left into a street and if they haven’t moved when we went there and bought duty free alcohol and cigarettes you had to have your passport or you couldn’t buy any items, not sure if it’s changed
  4. If you booked direct with p&o give them a call and see if you can change to something else in that category maybe next time if you like your cabin location get who you booked with to mark the booking do not upgrade but it’s only a request otherwise it could happen again if you leave yourself open to an upgrade
  5. You’ll have to check out the website just in case it’s updated
  6. Yes we got $200 OBC per stateroom and 50% FCC but in the fine print it says 50% what you paid less fees & taxes some people only paid a couple hundred dollars so they won’t get much but if you booked early and paid a fair price you’ll get back quite a bit
  7. I haven’t read all the post but here goes i was on the Carnival Luminosa and we left Sunday from Brisbane and nearly got to Lifou and the Captain turned us around and said we were heading back to Brisbane and might try and stay a couple of nights at Morten Island but we couldn’t due to the Splendor being there so we cruised down near Port Macquarie and arrived back in Brisbane today (Sunday) we had 7 days at sea and no ports but no one seemed to mind as we had plenty of food and smooth seas and no problems
  8. The ships should change to local time and every ship I’ve been on they always change the clocks
  9. No wrong ship, as Geoff said might be the Majestic Princess
  10. I think the OP has the wrong ship because the Luminosa doesn’t go to Sydney
  11. I reread your post and what is the cruise where the Luminosa picks up people first in Sydney and then in Brisbane
  12. You may not be allowed to leave the ship once you go onboard so why not drop off your luggage any time after 8.30 if you want to explore the city and get on later at least 90 minutes before departure
  13. Quantum of the Seas 12/4/23 to 28/4/23 17 nights from Brisbane to Hawaii Solo inside from $2133 Inside twin from $1399 outside twin from $1599 Balcony twin from $1799 Booking direct with RC noticed an online site had pretty much the same price
  14. gratuities not included and they charge $457 each and the currency will be USD
  15. Evon I’m doing a 7 night cruise from Brisbane soon and I’m in P2 and only being charged for 7days by the confirmation email doing another 5 night cruise later on and the email has 4 days 23 hours I’m being charged for and both cruises have the correct arrival and departure dates
  16. Depends on the size of the suitcase, if it’s a small one and will fit thru the X-ray scanner like they have at the airports it should be ok but if it’s too big and won’t go the scanner you might have problems getting the case onboard
  17. We stopped at Airlie beach and the first tender was about 7.30 but I found the system very good so if you were eager to go ashore early you could get your ticket at 6am and have a leisurely breakfast until they called your number
  18. Did you happen to do any tender stops, I was amazed how they operate the tenders leaving the times in the lounge at 6am and you helped your self to what time you want to get the tender and you can do what you like until your tender gets called
  19. Not a lot they can do but skip a couple of days, the passengers will be compensated for their trouble
  20. I was on the cruise too and I dodged a bullet I had a shared in the MDR for breakfast and dinner and did the comedy shows plus the shows in the theatre but I covered up most of the time but a lot of people didn’t , the ones that got covid I wonder if they did the right thing and covered up , I had a rat test and negative
  21. I found the ship good too and I have 2 more booked on the Luminosa and I think the CD Simon did a very good job i found only about 50% of people masked up but I never heard of any covid onboard and I’ve been home 3 days and had a rat test a short time ago and negative
