Yes I haven’t come across anything similar with the tenders our CD was good and he made one blue but most probably following orders we did a 4 day cruise to Airlie beach and he told everyone at the disembarkation meeting that everyone had to fill in an Incoming passenger card but we couldn’t duty free and never left Australia and no Border Force at Brisbane cruise terminal, people were given one to fill in but nothing left in my room so I didn’t have to -
On my latest Luminosa cruise some passengers still wear shorts and thongs on elegant nights

I just came off the Luminosa today after 4 nights and I found the ship quite nice and not sure if it’s been mentioned but we had a day at Airlie beach the CD said they would put out times and tender tickets at 6am in the Ocean Plaza and you can pick a time from 7.30 until when ever they had the open tenders and once you had your tender ticket you could have breakfast and come back when it’s time to get your tender and they made announcements when the tenders were available, I found the system very good -
Geoff OBC can be used in the casino as long as you play the pokies

NZ Early disembarkation denied. Any suggestions?
rkmw replied to lhayler's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
As if you’d do that , they’d get the cops onto you as an illegal immigrant -
You can use OBC in the casino, just charge your room the amount you want and play the pokies and when finished just cash out Dont charge your room and not spend anything in the casino as they have a sign up saying their not an ATM I don’t know about art work as I’ve never bought anything but you could ask the person running the show

I read on Facebook that Gavin Smith from Royal Caribbean wants the City Cats to operate from the new terminal for $8 into the City which would be a good for the economy because people on day trips could spend the time in Brisbane and saves worrying about expensive taxi/Uber fares for a few hours in the City

Geoff have you seen the new itinerary and when’s it being released

If it’s the same as the Splendor breakfast varied in times, brunch is 8am to 12pm i think normal breakfast in MDR was 7am till about 9.00-9.30 and disembarkment day 6.30 till 8am tea & coffee was available in the Lido but coffee like all ships could be better they had high tea once on an 8 night cruise between 3-4pm $20 pp but if you have early dinner you might too full from the cakes Make sure you download the Hubb App because all the details are there every day

Covid Isolation If You Are A Smoker
rkmw replied to Zanny's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
We know it’s against the law to smoke on the balcony so what happens if some person flicks their butt over the side and starts a fire or anyone who hasn’t got covid and they start smoking on the balcony , smoking in the bathroom might be better -

CDaze did you happen to go to the MDR for breakfast and if so do they have the Aussie breakfast, I came off the Splendor the other day and enjoyed having breakfast in the MDR -
I came off the Carnival Splendor the other day and their dining arrangements are very good and the Hub does a good job too and you can even check out the menu and book your meals from the Hub, Carnival still have a paper menu for people that don’t use or carry their phones around
