I'd agree this was on the tour operator from what I've read but the group certainly has the know how to get this wide coverage. It is everywhere. Saw several places yesterday, today it was on a main news outlet, on MSN main page, it was even talked about on a syndicated radio show focused on comedy with a special song written (although the song was geared about being stuck in Mexico). All the articles/coverage puts blame on NCL and none on people/operator.
False. We have. I even reported here about our trip there with three ships. Star, Jewel, and a Princess ship. Star docked, rest tendered. I mentioned how nicest local people at Port greeting us. You even replied to the comment.
So now it is 3-4 a year out of how many pilot boardings? That would be less than one in twenty. I will concede I have no idea on facts but let's be real.
You must have read same article I saw last week. I don't believe it. Been on more than twenty cruises and watched many on and offs, some in big swells. Dangerous, yes, but have not seen one fall.
Welcome to CC. I was thinking more like 'Rochelle Rochelle' from Seinfeld.
OP, with an H6, what are you looking for? You have the H3 and H2 as options. H3 max four people. We've stayed in H2 with kids and it was a great room. H6 already a great room so I wouldn't be too concerned about bid as others probably sold out.
Eta just tried a mock and it showed one dos available so maybe hope.
The whole fuel surcharge has been around since roughly 2010 when fuel went crazy high, lines started fees after booked, lawsuits happened, back peddled and language added to give option.
I don't recall seeing any posts about any fees though since but I also don't follow all lines.
For the Star in a DOS, yes. Are you on 10 or 12? They changed 10 to DOS so they could charge more vs 9 as both used to be OS. 12 got added around 2011 with two versions. The outer ones have a wing to look over the side with a dining table.
That room also gets three bottles of booze, bottle of prosecco, unlimited in room water and soda. No drinks delivered to room, for your convenience, of course.
OP, the Haven area on Jewel Class ships not that great. Pool is dinky. That being said, for PC I'd stay there. A full transit is a full day experience. Upper area gives roughly 170 degree view from Port side.
We've stayed many times by EWR at Marriott properties. I get it is NYC, but they are overpriced and I'd give them a C overall.
Our last stay the shuttle was a cluster. Had to go to remote area at airport, asked driver of shuttle if go to x address, told yes, ended up opposite end of airport at different Marriott.
Uber on way out, first driver could not find hotel, second struggled.
OP, were you port or starboard? We were port and jacuzzi had one jet that liked to blow water way onto deck. I agree it would be nice if they had some rooms with second bath.
