I never used it so i didnt take notice of the type. The Machine in the suite lounge was pretty good though, if you care for expresso or cappuccino.

We had a crown loft ( ocean view ) last month on Allure. Same set up as the Oasis. Costal Kitchen was very good in terms of service , food and ambience. Suite lounge offers free drinks from 11 - 11 every day. Just be aware that there are two types of suites, the ones facing the rear of the ship do not offer much privacy as they overlook an activity area of the ship.

Im not nostalgic , i like the new ship smell in the morning .🤣

Sounds like you like cruising 🙂 Great way to pass time. We tried different classes of ships to see what suited us better. RC has good choices so we stuck with them, and as you collect trip points, you will benefit from the (meaningful) perks as you hit the diamond level. From the looks of it , it wont take you very long to get there. Cheers !

Yep, we cruise for the ship and Oasis class it is . Dont really care about the ports since we have been to most of them . We hardly get off the ship.

I usually end up with one of those 2 tops a foot away from the next table . I dont mind them as we usually end up chatting with the other people next to us , but we dont have to wait for them to be served before we start to eat. Its usually the same people too, as they keep the same dinner time as us. And we end up in the same spot every night.

Read your policies . I have 4 days on my TD card and tried to get an additional 4 days and i couldnt pass the medical as i have two issues . So i didnt have any coverage at all with the credit card . I bought some insurance with the Snowbird Association ( manulife )

Foreigner and Led Zep are in my rotation when im on the treadmill along with other 70`s bands . ( no Journey though ) Last week on Allure there was a good band in serious need of a sound engineer. Bass was too loud drowning out the rest of the band. Pity . 🙁

We had a Journey tribute band on the Anthem a few years ago. I soon discovered i cant tolerate that high pitched voice after listening to a few tunes. Now i cant listen to Journey at all. Lol 🤣

I dont buy blue jeans anymore . I only buy black jeans and they look more dressier , so you can enter any venue and still have less clothes to bring. I wore black jeans with a black blazer previously , and it looked like a suit. I dont bring the blazer any more though.

They most certainly will check your status as you enter . They did every time we entered . He asked for the room number but never asked to see our cards. I saw a person turned away one night .

I greased the palm of my server directly with cash in hand to make sure he got it on the second last day of the cruise. I was also discrete so he can share or do whatever he wishes with it.

I had the guy that handles the bags staple my black and white tags to my luggage and tipped him. I dont have a color printer . Get my bags every time .

Its an embarrassment to the company to float that scrap heap . No wonder their stock price is tanking with management thinking its ok to keep that mess in the fleet this long. Should of gone to the scrap yard pre - covid .

So , i spent a pre-cruise day at the Riverside and was very pleased with it. Great location , and room was clean and comfortable . They do have a great breakfast and it was delivered by a robot to our table . We had a late lunch at Big City Tavern across the street , and although it was very loud in there ( college football games going on all the tv`s ) it was good. I would stay there again .

I admire your bravery , as i am not as courageous as you and have never sailed on a Carnival ship . That old ship was belching black smoke while the Allure was polluting the air with nice white smoke ( which im sure is better , lol ). Think ill stick with Oasis class for now.

I saw the Carnival Ecstasy last week in the same port as us. What a dump. Looked like it was from WW2 . Your finances have to be in pretty bad shape if you decide to book that piece of crap. I laughed when i saw it.😂

I am a late arrival on the cruise ship if i fly in the day of , so i guess i wont get the comedy show , which is the only thing i really like. I liked the old way where i could pre-book everything from home. I dont see how this new way improves anything.🙁

I waltzed into Coastal Kitchen last week in shorts and a short sleeve shirt on formal night. I didnt actually know or i would of worn long pants rather than the shorts. Id say more than half were dressed up . I wasnt turned away , and i didnt mind one bit that people were all dressed up.🙂 After all, its their vacation too.😂

Hmmm , guess i cant bring mine either then , as its attached to the seat of my Audi .🤣

Got an email from the suite concierge late yesterday . They claim they had my old work email on file . I changed it to my personal email years ago and get a daily bombardment of emails from them to buy the drink and restaurant packages on this one. Oh well .🙄

Just got an email with a new set of cruise docs and at the end was the luggage tags . I called at around 9 am and got them around 3 pm. My check in is now closed but the new cruise docs show the luggage tags when i log into RC with my laptop . No email from the suite concierge yet .🙁
