  1. Instead of ordering a Milky Way and modifying it, just order a B52, which is Grand Marnier, Kahlua and Baileys already.. one drink, "problem" solved. And no, you shouldn't be charged for substitutions, assuming within reason and price ranges.
  2. All three dining rooms are same menu, use same kitchen, etc. Slight differences in decor, and obviously location. Currently, Symphony is Club Class, the other half normal dining. Shows were 7:30 and 9pm on Dec 2-10 sailing.
  3. June is hot. In Hawaii, CA, and in between. Hawaii is always hot. It's a matter of temps at the starting/ending port. Princess HI cruises generally are round-trip CA - HI and have 4 sea days on the way to HI and 4 sea days on the way home. Cabin size which is very frequently mentioned between Celebrity and Princess, is a matter of preference. Overall, by square footage, Princess cabins (balcony) are actually larger, they're just laid out differently than Celebrity - much larger walk-in closet area with dressing are separating bathroom and living space versus having a sofa and much smaller closet. You can check square footage yourself, not difficult. On newer Princess ships, there's Deluxe Balcony cabins which have small soda sitting area (same huge closet, etc). . if a couch is important, it's either a Royal class ship on Princess (or s mini-suite on older ships) or Celebrity. Also, big differences between the lines when it comes to suites.. Celebrity offers a whole lot more for suite guests than Princess. By far. And specialty dining is more varied and more options on Celebrity, by far.. Princess doesn't charge for room service (except a few specific items), has the International Cafe which is included and 24/7 small bites, lower charges for specialty dining, limits the drink packages to 15 alcohol drinks a day unlike Celebrity's unlimited packages, etc. Otherwise, more similar overall..
  4. There will be some few taxi operators working Christmas Day. Otherwise, nope. And no grocery stores open.. maybe some few local shops in the smaller villages for a couple hours, but even that - hit or miss. Christmas Day is very much a no business day around here. Tours will be operating..
  5. You don't need a day pass for Naked Fisherman. Anyone can enjoy the restaurant and all beaches are public. You may want to make a reservation, just to secure some space without a wait.. We have two lighthouses.. the one in Vigie by the port, mainly visit outside.

    Vigie Beach

Your first mistake is paying $160 for cab fare to/from Naked Fisherman. It should be, at most, $40usd one way for up to 4 persons. It's a set rate. If you've been paying $160 round trip, you either have a large large group, or are getting royally ripped off. You also have Pigeon Island as a "main player" much less crowded than Reduit, whether inside the park or outside. May be worth a visit to see something different. Or skip the beach and actually enjoy what St Lucia has to offer different than other Caribbean islands. . Glad you're enjoying Vigie, best part is you can simply walk there and back - no cab driver needed. .
  8. Via MedallionClass app, you can complete online check-in, order your medallion for either delivery (if you have a US address for them to be delivered to if you want them delivered prior to sailing) or to pick up at port, same as old cruise cards (only option for anyone out of the US anyway). You do have to order them for delivery, it's not automatic. You can complete online check-in via app or cruise personalizer online..
  9. Yes, as noted earlier on in the posts, internet would be iffy at best Nov 28 to Dec 1..
  10. Wifi is not free . Intranet is "free" aka included in your fare Internet access bus WiFi is a paid service.. whether via one of the fare bundles or individually..
  11. As you can see, I'm not the one who asked about using it at see and in fact, did clarify for Lilly -Ann that it is usable any time...
  12. Tables are generally two or four tops in CC as it's rare for large groups to be traveling all CC. The maitre'd and dining staff can join tables together to make a larger table if you find others you want to dine with who all want to dine at same time. Many of the two tops are banquette style, ie One long bench seat with 4 or 5 two tops along it with the other side being one chair. You're quite close to your neighbors, very easy to chat.
  13. As noted in my post, and subsequent posts, no you cannot purchase the Princess Plus bundled fare upon embarkation. It has to be purchased in advance.
  14. It's not smoke from smokers - it's soot from the funnels. Been an ongoing problem on early Royal class ships... Room stewards are aware and work hard to keep furniture and deck clean, and there's mats inside the two sets of sliding doors.. don't sit in anything white or light colored without a towel down!
  15. Balcony is 100% usable while at sea or in port. They do not lock them off while underway or anything. It can sometimes be too windy to be enjoyable, and if very windy, the furniture will be tied down, but otherwise, it's 100% usable. Usually cannot use balcony light at night and have to keep curtains closed to prevent light pollution for the bridge, otherwise no restrictions.
  16. As you can see right in their post, the OP and wife are enjoying their balcony on sea days "The seas have been exceptionally calm so no issues so far with motion and wind today (day at sea) is mild so balcony is usable while sailing." (OP)
  17. Are you asking about the bundled fare (wifi, crew appreciation and Plus beverage package) or the stand-alone Plus beverage package? If the bundled fare, no can do as PP has to be purchased in advance, you can't buy aboard. If you mean the stand-alone beverage package, no problem - buy on embarkation day and use up your OBC.. (Curses to Princess for their naming snafus: Medallion/MedallionClass/MedallionNet, mini-suite/suite, Plus/Plus, Premier/Premier. Did they really not have other names??).
  18. https://princessluxurybed.com/ It's the non-allergenic pillow, code starts with a PW
  19. Caribe corner aft suites have minimal overhang, as you can see in the photo above. We've been in then a few times and doesn't bother us at all.. We love the layout with the bedroom much more separated from the sitting area, works way better for us than the square smaller midship suites. The wraparound balcony is plenty big enough for us in Caribe..
  20. Motion has been a non-issue on any of our cruises in those forward cabins. And nothing from the theater, you're not actually above any of the active theater areas, you're forward of those.
  21. Don't confuse the medallion with the MedallionClass app. Two different things. Medallion works fine. Opens your door, scanned in casino to get credit or earn points, ID 9ff and on ship, etc - all the same stuff as the old cruise card. App - that's what can be sketchy for some and work fine for others. Yes, you can obviously still order face to face to wait staff at bar or those roaming taking orders, call room service directly, etc. You can 100% enjoy your cruise and never once use the app. Room service menu is on room TV, menus are there also (although not always accurate to what's in the MDR each night, holidays tend to screw up the order), and so forth.
  22. Have been in those forward Emerald Deck Deluxe Balcony cabins many times - we aim for 109 or 110 as often as we can as the balconies are huge!! And the only "issue" is the metal railing. No issues with motion for us - we've done two TAs, one NY to Caribbean and several Caribbean sailings in those forward cabins Only issue is occasional noise from anchor being lowered. Not enough to stop us enjoying them. We've hosted UBD for 8 on E110 - that's how big it is! Lol. 104 isn't that large, but it's much larger than standard, easily enough room to stretch out. Here's a video from Regal.. Sky will be exactly the same, just a little different color scheme inside. You can get a good idea of balcony size around 3:10 onwards.. https://youtu.be/UpuhJZHpMpU
  23. Interesting as other ships are serving UBD course by course.. They may be slightly understaffed or such, which would be Covid related - lingering short staffing effects. There was a recent thread about UBD that some ships are doing it by serving all at once and some course by course and some still haven't resumed.
