I was on a cruise in 2019 and I was part of a group of 50 per our TA. We only had one group function during the entire 19 night cruise. The cruise was sold out and there were no issues. We met some really nice passengers who were part of this group and we all had a fabulous time.

When we travel we have an official print out from the Mayo Clinic with the list of our prescriptions. We also carry the Rx bottles. We just pack the over the counter stuff in a zip lock storage bag. Never have had any issues going thru any security lines anywhere .

The water bottles are awful. The glass water bottles in the rooms are very heavy when full. Hard to pour water without spilling. Don’t like the filtered water as we don’t know exactly is in the water. I’d rather drink Pellagrino. Bringing my own water bottle for shore excursions.

Everyone needs to put luggage trackers in their luggage due to all the crazy things you hear regarding lost bags. I don’t trust anyone these days.

If u run out of drawer space keep the extra stuff under the bed in your suitcase! Things like underwear and tee-shirts.

We were on the Navigator from Copenhagen to Amsterdam. The service was outstanding! The food was great! The crew was so nice and attentive! The red wines were awful. The entertainment was so so. We have been on all the Regent ships with over 200 nights. Have been cruising with Raddison/ Regent since 2001. Navigator is not our favorite ship but we have never had a bad experience.

Go on TripAdvisor.com and plug in Istanbul. All things regarding what to do will pop up.

The Lufthansa plane from Atlanta to Frankfurt was outdated. We could hardly see the TV screen as it was so far from the seat.

We flew from Atlanta to Frankfurt to Copenhagen via Lufthansa. Frankfurt airport was chaotic!!!! No organizing anything. The flight to Copenhagen was packed and it required a packed bus ride out to the plane. Horrible!!! No Business class line for boarding… everyone pushing there way up the stairs to board the plane. Hopefully we never change planes again in Frankfurt.

We disembarked in Amsterdam. I thought the service was great! The crew was some of the sweetest people. Occasionally our food was not hot but everything we had tasted great. We were not happy with any of the red wines. The white were better. The service in the lounges was great. My favorite entree was Beef Wellington!

Currently on The Navigator docked at the Leith Cruise Terminal. You can walk to the Britannia from here. Buy a ticket in advance as it’s considered a busy destination for tourists.

There is no quality control by Regent in the spa as it’s run by Serene Spa. Same as when it was run by Canyon Ranch and another spa company.

Currently on the Navigator. Spa services awful. Poorly run. Booked a toe polish change 2 months before cruise. I show up to be told the manicurist is busy. The salon manager changed my polish. I had to sit in a uncomfortable chair with my feet prop up in her lap! Then I had to walk barefoot to the waiting area to let my toes dry. They needed the chair I was sitting in. No apologizing! No rubber toe separators! She used cotton balls!! Even the worst nail salons in the USA have those!!! i lodged a complaint with the ships manager. Got a call from the spa offering me a complimentary scalp massage!! I said no thanks.

The Copenhagen airport is chaotic! We arrived Thursday morning and I’ve never seen such a mess. Luggage everywhere.

Today my TA told me it could take up to 3 weeks to hear from Regent air. They are so backed up due to all the canceled flights etc.

I agree with Retrorod: Totally confusing!

Does this mean Regent will only book flights 90 out from your cruise? Do they think people are going to make final payment without finalizing their flight? What happened to Air Deviation? That was 270 days out. Some really needs to clarify things.

You get a totally different answer from every employee at Regent air. One offered to waitlist us on the Delta flight from Atlanta to FCO . never heard back.

Hi wcsdkqh, We r going to Rome. Rome to Miami Called Regent air at the 270 day. We were told No contracts on the direct Delta flight to Rome on the day we wanted to fly. Going to Rome a few days before the. cruise. Atlanta to FCO. We took the flight going thru Amsterdam to Rome and had an upcharge of $500 per person. What a joke! Called back and got changed to a Airit flight from JFK to FCO. Got our money refunded! I then read on CC that someone who booked after I first called got that direct Delta flight to FCO from Atlanta a month after I called !! Then I’m told it depends on what day u want to fly. What’s the point in deviation if u get bad itinerary? With the new system now of requesting flights it’s going to be a nightmare!

You are lucky that Regent Air put you on a direct flight to Barcelona. Did u pay an upcharge for that flight?

Rcanddkc: We have stayed in Southampton before a cruise. Went directly from LHR to our hotel there for one night. Used a private car service. So easy and stress free. We feel it’s ridiculous to go into London for one night. Stayed at The Southampton Harbor Hotel. Had a fabulous meal at Ennos …. A really good Italian restaurant! 10 minutes from hotel to port! So easy.

We put Apple trackers in our bags.

Parking at a hotel in Miami can be very expensive. Could be $40 a day. Regent including this in the duration of a cruise is highly unlikely. You better check. Cheaper to park at the port.

How did you end up with so much OBC?

It’s a shame you weren’t on United Airlines direct flight from Dulles to Barcelona. Did you get your luggage? Lucky you didn’t miss boarding the ship.
