I’m glad you finally tried the Toasted Almond Martini! One of the bartenders at the Good Spirits bar recommended it when I was looking for something different. Sometimes I order a double. Looks like they forgot to sprinkle a little cocoa on top.

Have the bartender at Good Spirits make you a toasted almond martini. If you like the coffee martini, you’ll love this! It’s now my “go to”.

It was a b2b Eastern and Western Caribbean cruise. During our turnaround day, all we had to do was get off the ship and be identified by our picture at the kiosk and then reboard the ship. Never needed our passports on any island.

You have no idea how lucky we felt. We hardly believed it ourselves. The gods were on our side!

Long story short, we forgot our passports for a Caribbean cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. I spoke with the port supervisor on the phone who said we could board with a copy of our birth certificates but not a copy of our passports. Go figure! Our daughter emailed the birth certificates, and we printed them out. We already had our medallions, and breezed right through check in. I was holding my breath until sail away, thinking they might kick us off, but they didn’t. I don’t recommend anyone try this, and I know we got lucky. Believe me, we will never forget our passports again!

I wonder if we can refare even if there are no cabins left in our category, without an increase in the cruise fare. I know, I’m asking for the moon!

On the Enchanted, we found potato chips in different flavors as well as Vege Straws that were very good. They were for sale in the shop that sold candy, bandaids, aspirin, etc. They weren’t cheap, but good in a pinch.

I wonder if one can still get the 10% elite discount on top of the 20%.

Today we were notified about a couple of changes to the itinerary for our April 13 cruise. The change already shows in the travel summary.

If we use them a lot and they work hard to take care of our needs, we tip them at the end of the cruise. The amount is up to your discretion. If we don’t use their services much or not at all, we don’t tip.

I agree. I downloaded the app and answered all their questions until it asked for our yearly income. I figured it was none of their business and “dismissed” it, but it wouldn’t allow me to skip it. Then I read their privacy policy. Oh, boy! Immediately emailed them to ask that my private information not be shared. I couldn’t get any further on the app, so just deleted it. Am I now stuck not being able to get my shareholder’s OBC?

Put it in your checked bag, and it won’t be a problem.

@cactusroseWe’ve been through the canal a couple of times, so this is a repeat with friends. As your friends are doing, they are staying in the cabin next door, so we can open up the balcony divider. Slow going through the locks will enable us to use the side balcony, which is covered. Our cruise is in January, so hopefully it won’t be too hot. I don’t mind people being able to look down on us if we’re sitting aft. As @HaveDogWillTravelmentioned, if it gets too hot, the wet towel on the shoulders sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately when we booked, full suites were limited, so this was our best option. It’s part of a world cruise.

We are booked in A726 for the Panama Canal in Jan. 2025. It appears to be a very narrow cabin compared to our previous suites on other ships. The bonus is the balcony with side and aft views. If the cruise you’re looking at is after that date, I can come back and report. Chances are someone else will chime in who’s sailed in one of those cabins.

Because I wasn’t able to book the 360 dining on line, I wrote an email to Customer Relations and asked for help. In less than two weeks, I received a call from Princess, and the lovely gentleman took care of our reservations for the dates and times we wanted! They now show on the app. Way to go, Princess!

It may be related to the weather. Depends on your itinerary, but Fall is a lovely time in the SF Bay Area. Spring can be a bit chilly.

One thing you may want to consider is if your balcony is covered. Some are partially covered and others are not. It helps to look at a photo of the back of the ship, or look for a video on YouTube.

I just tried booking the 360 Experience and even though we’ll be in a full suite, the App wanted to charge us. I went ahead to book it, and got a message that an error occurred and kicked me out. Tried two or three other dates, and the same thing happened. I am using the old App.

I googled Facebook Princess CVP and it came up with phone numbers and a lot more information. Good luck!
