  1. SMH so much it almost falls off.
  2. Correct. I didn't mean for my post to imply a guest could order up the entire menu at one sitting. Yes, I am sure you could get two apps and no dessert or other reasonable swaps. They have been flexible in the SD locations about that so why not CD as well. A Premier guest would not need to order all three parts of a full meal either on a CD visit - like just decline dessert for example. Same for a Plus. I don't see why any crew would force the guest to take all parts and waste the food. A Premier guest could potentially visit each CD location on a ship in one day. I know one poster a while back mused how long between one visit and the next must a Premier guest wait before being able to consume more free food (at the same location)? Princess doesn't specify any limit per day like they do with alcoholic beverages.
  3. That sounds like a situation that could be fixed on board and charges adjusted.
  4. How big is your group? Maybe you would mostly fill a CT booking? You need to get on the list ASAP after boarding and then wait and see if invited. If you can fill a table (10-12 max), then let them know. I think you will find price higher than $95 now as all of these prices have gone up. Do you have recent report of it still being $95? CG is a good alternative if you want to spend less.
  5. You might try the South American ports board on this website. I am not sure if there is a special thread for Peru, but you might find help there from boarder range of members.
  6. That is $100 + 18%. IIRC, the no-wine CT is $15 less.
  7. Another might be a partial PC voyage from FLL on an older ship? Worked for someone I know with < 250 days.
  8. Yup, the upcharge for specialty dining (SD) used to include a baked-in gratuity. Now they are adding it on top as a "backdoor" way to increase the prices.
  9. It's offered in the Princess App after boarding. And, yes, it should reflect the 50% off if eligible. It's the difference between 1-device cost and 4-device cost.
  10. Do not book two cabins with a different high-level digit (like a 496 and a 502) because there is a fire wall and no adjoining balconies. Book like 502 and 506 - whatever is together on the deck plan with same high-order digit. Also, if booking PLUS for the parents/adults, you can upgrade one of the 1-device Internet plans included in the package to a 4-device plan and then you have 5 total connections which is MUCH better IMO than expecting two youngers to be sharing a single connection. Also, is the 20-year old going to be 21 by the time you sail (you said a cruise for next year). Anyway, there is no issue have those two on own booking. There is even another workaround for this. Book everyone Standard. Swap cabins upon boarding. Upgrade adults to Plus on board Day 1. Same cost, but you have paid less travel insurance if you buy that and OBC can offset cost of Plus.
  11. You forgot one other condition - your airline must be a participating airline in the program.
  12. Of course a guest could pay every time they visit the place and never claim their free visit. Wouldn't be a great thing to do, but certainly wouldn't be a problem as far as I can understand it. If you know only visiting twice and never going to eat all the food, just order what you want and use the credit. No one on Princess is going to force you to eat three courses.
  13. The idea of guests from same cabin sharing a Prix Fixe meal option and only being charged one of their free meal visits was debated almost endlessly on here last year. TBH, I don't recall how many actual reports from people on a ship who has PLUS fare option and tried this and were either successful or not. We can establish that Standard Fare guests can share whatever they order as they pay either a la carte or prix fixe. Same for Premier guests since they have unlimited meals, so they could order whatever they want. I am quite sure it would be considered out of bounds for a Plus/Premier guest to share their food with a Standard guest, but how is this being monitored/enforced? I don't know that we ever got a number of definitive answers. As always, experiences can vary depending on the ship involved.
  14. Have you been following the official Sun Princess thread? Regular reports on there when folks have been able to access dining res.
  15. LOL. This is the official Sun Princess thread.
  16. But that's the crew entrance for servicing.
  17. Mine was always correct (Elite) in the old App up through our voyages in Fall 2022. Last year, it changed to Blue when the old App got a design make-over. New App I am still Blue - even after deleting data and cache and re-logging in. I am wondering (hopeful) it would self-correct if I made a booking. That said, the App should pull member level from CC Member records (Profile) and not need to use a booking to get it.
  18. I wonder if a member who posts here will happen to be the first guest to step on board Sun on Thursday. Special moment for someone.
  19. Not sad at all in my corner because those minutes were costly and disappeared in no time, not to mention the logout issues and losing minutes.
  20. You don't really find that out until on board. It would be giving away marketing info. Same idea as airlines don't really reveal how many total empty seats on a plane ahead of time.
  21. I know what you mean, but no, I have not had reason to call them.
  22. Unless unusual situation, the all-aboard is always 30 minute prior to departure time. But check the board when leaving the ship each port day to be sure. On tender ports I think it is usually 1 hour prior to departure.
  23. All this to and fro on the D0 with Signature dining and benefits - it does read to me that those cabins are not getting the full Signature package (whatever all that entails). It surprises me a little that no one involved has reported speaking directly with a CVP about them (or at least that I noticed). So, it also would surprise me if the inside sales reps (the US-based experienced ones I mean) are not fully informed about the cabins being offered - especially the premium ones that would be the ones to try and sell. Now that sailing is so close, it should get resolved. I can see how either programming for information to fit a cell phone screen versus a PC screen could have variances with sloppy programming. IDK if there is a cache issue involved as well. I was all in the camp that this appears to be a PCL issue as not the first time there have been marketing errors in the booking process. Not so sure now. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out as live reports come in. But you would think SOMEONE at Princess will have the definitive knowledge about what the situation is SUPPOSED to be. Surely Carmen Roig (VP Sales) or one of her direct reports would know. Any TA's encountered this potential anomaly and inquired?
  24. Not sure the point of thiS post. A rant about internet cost ( it's not wifi). Or is this a rant about speed? It has improved a lot in past few months with new satellite service.
