  1. Aren't 10 beers about $60 (or more with 18%)? And say 10 Perrier are maybe $25?? Of course, wholesale cost to Princess isn't near what the menu prices are.
  2. They will allow togetherness at check-in. Disembark doesn't really matter. IDK about the PES "lounge" for late afternoon noshing. They normally ask for Medallion to check color level. I don't imagine a guest will be a big deal - just ask. The PES is not a highly attended event in my past infrequent observations.
  3. The Plus Cruise Fare option has been increased to $60/pp/day for some time now. And I am just trying to be factual and post the correct numbers.
  4. I don't understand all the errors with Crew Appreciation (not just you). The new minimum cost of CA is $16/pp/day. Add $1 for Mini's and $2 for Suites, IIRC. So, the gap is $44/pp/day for drinks and MedallionNet (wifi is free). If you are using Internet, then the gap reduces to $29/pp/day if have to pay full prices for MedallionNet, or reduces to $36.50/pp/day if you are eligible for 50% discount on MedallionNet.
  5. Same thing as happened to the coffee package, and $29 SD cover charges. They walked the plank into the ocean deep. I see where they mention CG as location, but I don't see why they wouldn't maintain the same location on Royal Class ships and just use CG for the other ships (which never had the WMD, other than perhaps a special event on a longer voyage).
  6. OWWWCH!!! The former WMD cost was $40/pp - and admittedly it was a veritable "steal-of-a-deal". However, this new pricing places it over top of the Chef's Table Lumiere experience (unless that is raised now to the same price). I believe we have had our last WMD as my wife just isn't into the wine that much and I think it too much of a single splurge. It is extra costly for those on a package as not getting any discount on the wine cost.
  7. No (but we would have switched half the mini-bar for a single coffee package if allowed). Our standard swap is all 10 alcohol for beer(s) of choice and all 10 non-alcohol for Perrier (Pellegrino is fine too, but the contents are less ounces than with the Perrier). If on a B2B, the next one might vary, depending on supplies. I think $50 Non-Ref OBC is fair enough. However, the value of two coffee packages was about $20 more than that.
  8. Oh my - of course. More spelling issues. Not professional for certain.
  9. I am wondering if the invitation has a miss-print for Skywalkers as I thought that location was always spelled as one word. I wonder if Lucasfilm made them change it. (Deck plans still show it spelled as one word). I also don't know that Lucas could have copyrighted the name since it is made from two common words and may have been in existence prior to 1977. Did a short search and Lucas protected several names, including "Luke Skywalker", but "Skywalker" on its own appears not and another note mentioned person names cannot be copyrighted. I kind of doubt Princess has a problem with the name use and they certainly weren't evoking Star Wars when they came up with the moniker.
  10. The don't need to eliminate the mini-bar perk as it is quite useful to those of us who book Standard Fares. They could add a new exchange option as several posters have suggested - the OBC (non-refundable of course). They would just have to come up with a dollar-value that works for PCL and the guest. Hopefully, they would make it the value of whatever the wine sells for that we can switch for. We don't swap for the wine and I don't keep track of the max value. I imagine something like $70 - $80 would be in line with both the wine and former value of two coffee packages.
  11. Not the sort of memo I'd want to be surprised with upon boarding. I know this happened a lot previously, but would think it (required for all) to be a thing of the past. Perhaps it was more of a likely event sailing out of Australia (have not been checking up on that region lately at all).
  12. The notices you included don't appear to mention masking. Are you saying masks are being required on this Australian voyage? I found this under FAQ's for Australia cruising: From February 16, the requirement for all guests and crew to wear masks in all indoor settings for voyages 10 nights or longer has been relaxed, and is no longer mandatory. Some guests and crew members may still choose to wear masks voluntarily, and is not a negative reflection on them. Masking requirements may change at any time, so we ask for flexibility from our guests. Guests are advised to check with Guest Services if they have any concerns.
  13. You can get the TD experience by booking same time each night in DMW App at a private table. Is that what you want - to dine with companion alone? On board, ask DR Mgmt to keep you at the same table each night. If you are looking to share with the same group, that is not very likely and depends a lot on who you first seat with and their preferences. Set up each other in your Princess App as Travel Companions, using each other's booking code. Then, you or son makes the res in DMW App for same time each night at a Private table. But first include the other party as dining companions and you will be making a res for 4 people at a private table. When you get on the ship, just ask DR Mgmt to block you into the same table each night so you keep the same wait staff and there you have the TD experience at the time you have chosen.
  14. Try the Captain's Circle department as they have the key data like Name, BD, Address associated with member id. I don't think we can change Name and BD via self-service.
  15. Princess.com is down for weekend maintenance, but I don't think we can change key info like name and BD without contacting Princess.
  16. Another thought I just had, is if you had sufficient cash, you could go to GS and deposit into your wife's account to keep it to >= $0 and, with nothing owing, perhaps you would be able to collect all of the Ref OBC? (Sort of like doing a transfer from your account to hers, but not directly so to say). Another thought is I wonder what would have happened if you took $400 Ref OBC out one first leg? Seems like you had plenty Non-Ref to cover your charges.
  17. Do you think the cancelled out some Non-Ref OBC/FCC since you had a large credit balance rolling forward? Lesson learned is get that cash out while on board.
  18. No idea the situation and not studied the calendar, but PCL has leased out ships for a week and might be doing it with the newest one.
  19. Don't take it personally because probably more dress code threads have been blown away than any other topic short of Covid-19 threads in 2020 and 2021.
  20. You didn't miss anything - other than the date gap. SUN arrives on Oct 09 and first cruise for sale (announced) is Oct 14.
  21. I think I may have read this before. I suspect either Princess is having an unannounced deal to upgrade from 1 device to 4 devices - as opposed to the cost of 4-devices outright, OR, they have a pricing bug when upgrading versus ordering outright. Logic says the cost of 4-devices should be the same either way, but perhaps no logic to it. A "no lose" way to try it is to just order one single-device plan per couple and then do the upgrade it it works. Otherwise, just fall back to ordering another single-device plan. Cost is same in advance and on board.
