  1. Unfortunately, Carnival does not offer live customer support once you have taken your cruise. If you call in, they will direct you to the website to fill out a post cruise form. More directly you can email Carnival at iCare@carnival.com Include a copy of the promissory note and your booking number. Someone should reply via email or call you to arrange payment.
  2. Thanks for sharing your review. It sounds like the worst parts of the cruise was the fellow passengers and staff communication!
  3. @SenatorsFan You "should" be platinum on the first leg as Carnival will be crediting you those days on Day 1 of the first cruise. Check your luggage tags or boarding papers to see if they have PRIORITY on them. If not, you may want to call in and make sure both legs are linked together.
  4. Well that's blessing that her daughter is there as her medical advocate. I bet they figured it was quicker to transport her back by ship instead of a medi-vac which could take a couple days to coordinate. It's a good reminder that unfortunately things can go wrong while traveling.
  5. You take it easy on yourself. I know your wallet paid for Cheers but don't may you body pay for it too!
  6. Too funny! I thought the Grand Canyon was epically beautiful. There are so many angles and viewpoints to appreciate it from. Not to mention sunset. I had to force myself to stop staring at it to give my brain a much needed break.
  7. Our cabin was in this area and it looked like they converted the karaoke rooms to storage. There are two nice public bathrooms that are still open. The rest is hallway to the two teen clubs. I kind of wish they would have kept them as karaoke booths would have been fun!
  8. I agree! It should say "Privacy Warning" Please keep the window curtain closed at night.
  9. I have had my card collected once before. It was a Magic cruise from Port Canaveral in 2017. Hurricane Irma had us diverted to New Orleans for restocking of supplies. Those of us who debarked in NO instead of remaining on for the extended cruise back to PC had our Sign and Sail cards collected. I think the ship uses it as a double check as to who has left.
  10. I can confirm this was my experience on a Journey's cruise. I had A01 boarding group and I am Platinum. All Platinum and Diamonds were offered priority debarkation.
  11. I like your “plan” to have no plans! Fingers crossed for a drama free, relaxing cruise.
  12. Thanks for your honest report. Maybe this ship is not a good match for the New York market. I also found the smoke to be pretty bad in the casino and also near the theater because the public smoking area was nearby on Deck 5 and the crew use Deck 4 to smoke.
  13. Yes, it works but both users need to make sure they are always connected to wifi. Also, it is more reliable to message one person at a time rather than group messaging.
  14. I was on the transatlantic Journey cruise, and we definitely got priority debarkation. They offered early luggage tags or meet in the dining room for self-carry. For embarkation, they called Suites first and then boarding group numbers.
  15. You can check in and then wait inside the terminal for everyone to get there before you board. No one will force you to get on the ship. I would not wait outside in July!
  16. I have rented a car from Budget at MCO/Port Canaveral before. Yes, drop off the passengers and luggage at the port and then return the rental van to the Budget office. It is much easier to take the Budget shuttle back to the port if it's just one or two people versus 10 people plus luggage. Always remember to keep your passport/wine/soda in your carry on and don't give it to the porters. Check-in is at 12:01 am EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) on July 8. Some people stay up until midnight to get an early check-in time but other's don't care. It's up to your group. If anyone is Platinum or Diamond, they can check in on July 6. The Faster to the Fun cabin is able to use the Priority Check-in Line at the port and can arrive earlier than the check-in time on their boarding pass. They also have a different waiting area in the port. They are not required to sit in that area if everyone wants to sit as a group. Each minor checking in should be with an adult assigned to their cabin. Plan accordingly when deciding who to send back with the rental van. Otherwise they will need to wait until that adult returns to the port. Have fun!
  17. She can be a no-show. I found it best to not mention it at check-in. I let Guest Services know once on board.
  18. I am a long time anytime dining fan but after my last cruise, I want to try late dining again. The services at ATD seem so rushed and disconnected. I think you can easily see the early shows/comics and then eat dinner.
  19. 1. No self-service laundry, only send out laundry. Your clothes are washed separately from other guest and general housekeeping items. I hope they add some ironing rooms in the future. 2. Yes to expanded menus 3. The gelato is an upcharge but it was cheaper than the gelato places in Europe. They did offer free gelato in the buffet on one day. 4. Tomodoro offers breakfast burritos as well as huevos rancheros. 5. La Strada is only open on sea days and worth a try. The grilled vegetables were delicious but I avoided the salads as they looked like they had sat in the sun for too long. 6. I never knew about the wax museum but I did see that they removed the karaoke rooms at the front of deck three. Enjoy the ship, she is beautiful.
  20. Yes, they will issue new keys for you. It's best to bring all adults plus the person being moved to guest services when making the request. Your mom needs to give them permission to move someone into her room and that person needs to agree to be moved. If that person is a minor child, the parent of that child should be present.
  21. There is a non-smoking annex with slot machines and table games. Go through the mid-ship elevator bank and turn right, then left.
