    I never once compared the pricing of Princess vs Celebrity so have no idea what your point is. But I will point out Celebrity’s drink package is superior for us as it includes canned soda. I only get a 25% discount on Princess.

    I’m very well versed on Princess thank you. Elite on Celebrity also gets you some free laundry and a discount on internet so there was no point comparing them.

    The other lines you mention are no better. Princess does not give you free drinks and doesn’t enforce their dress code. Free internet is gone from the perks. Elite you’ll get a mini bar set up in your room, that’s about it.

    Seriously? People’s expectations for a quick recovery are way off base. You want them to take on more debt to feed you like 2019? There will be cutbacks for a while. Either deal with it, or vacation elsewhere.

    What the hell do people expect? The company was probably close to bankruptcy and of course cutbacks are going to happen after all that time of not sailing and no revenue. Jeeezee people, so tired of the whining. Did people really think we were going back to 2019? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

    I was going to point that out but I’m not sure if the dates are her dry dock time or the time frame that cruises are affected.

    I agree with you but the majority will not be in their 50s.

    I don’t think a 35 day round trip from LA would draw Celebrity’s target demographic. I’m sure they could make much more on shorter cruises. The round trip lengthy cruises really attract the Seniors and infirm that don’t want to fly. We were originally booked on the HAL itinerary but switched to Celebrity Trans Pacific instead. Breaking up the Australia Flight with time in Hawaii.

    The report from the world cruise was the legendary Med was in 2025 and over 50 days. The cruise you booked is the Atlantic Adventurer.

    Are we sure it’s called the legendary Med? I believe what you booked has another name. Atlantic Adventurer. Legendary Med is supposed to be in 2025.

    Air Tahiti Nui also partners with Alaska Airlines so if you have AA points, the one way is a steal vs paying $$$

    Oh but for $19.99 that 1.75litre of French Vodka from Costco sure makes a lot of good martinis 🍸🍸. All of our vacations since Covid have been land trips. No one makes my bed but the food is certainly better 🤗🤗

    I don’t think Edge will fit into Kauai’s harbour. Even Solstice can’t get in there.
