Obviously some of these people do not understand the perils of sailing into storms....it is so easy to blame Princess for everything in their little negative minds. We cruise a lot and have missed ports due to storms or high winds and have always been thankful that the captain placed the passenger's safety over getting in to a port....disappointed, yes but thankful indeed.... All the whiners need to stick to land based vacations...then they can complain about flight delays and cancellations.

oH, no ----this is bad news...we are getting on the 13th of JUne.

The Regal is a wonderful ship - you should enjoy it immensely!

Yep...look weird because rubber gloves will do you absolutely no good...and they never did unless used properly by a medical professional.

All I can say is this ship is awesome!!!

We recently completed 18 days on the Emerald via the Panama Canal. It was one of our very best of 45 Princess cruises.....our room steward was outstanding. We never had any problems finding a table at the buffet or getting drinks of any kind there.....we had room service deliver our coffee every morning exactly at the time ordered and the correct order of one coffee and one decaf coffee....The original poster should just stick with NCL - a line that we tried once and would never go back.... The Emerald is a great ship!!!

That is where I plug in my night lite.

We just cover the sensors and bring a night light for the bathroom - simple solution!

The gardens are simply lovely at night!

Talking to my room steward , he confirmed there were quite a few cases of Covid. We also do the indoor deck walk on each deck from aft to stern and counted quite a few isolation tables on various decks. We were on Caribe port side and there were three in our section alone...The captain did not make any announcement.

Guest services will give you a mask if you request one. We have cruised a lot since covid and always bring our own.....

There was alot of covid on the emerald on the Panama canal trip that ended on May 4th in L.A.....all those little tables outside the doors of isolation cabins.

I just went through the pics you posted and I see the flat screen is still in the corner on the shelf - they have updated the Ruby and Emerald to rid of that so my question is now answered. Thanks anyway.

You mentioned an outlet behind the tv. I have not been on the Crown in a long time...Is there not a flat screen tv on the wall across from the bed???

That's right - still need to check with your cruise line. There must be a disembarkation process.

You better check with your cruise line. We have done early disembarks before and always needed permission.

In order to disembark before the scheduled time, you need to get a cruise devation approval from the cruise line.

We also carry on our full sized luggage with no scanner issue.

I must comment that we were also on that disembark but our time was 8:40 am to get off the ship. that was right on time. Once we got through customs which was a long time with long lines as they do not have facial recognition there, we got on the bus. It was a very confused driver that could not find his way out of the port. After we passed the Emerald princess and the USS Iowa twice we all knew there was a problem. Finally , we got on the freeway. There was minimal traffic but the congestion at the airport was heavy. The bus stopped at all the terminals. We were the last one - terminal 7 - there were people frantic about missing their flights. We got off that bus 2 and a half hours from start to finish. Next time, we will take an Uber.

We rarely do princess transfers but from or to LAX, they seem to be a bargain…one never knows about the traffic. this trip we are doing San Pedrobto LAX on a weekday morning…$68 for two.

If onboard, can book thru guest services. There are excursions for people with later flights that book via the shore excursion desk.
