  1. Seattle recommends the same. Two hours for domestic. BTW, we have one of those expensive credit cards. All those points are paying for us to fly Polaris J class from Seattle to Amsterdam and return from Stockholm. Oh, right and the lounge access. I hope you sleep well. Sincerely.
  2. LOL. I think I'm going to let the media and the courts make final judgments and you and your sister and I can mind our own business, personal opinions put aside.
  3. Are you aware of how few ships can actually make a landing. Fewer than 500 pax to begin with. There's a TREATY there. Worldwide treaty. So think of all the cruises you've been on where the ship was small enough. So for many, many people seeing it in person, even at a distance, is awesome.
  4. We're not long term cruisers and I was telling my husband last night that I'd have to look long and hard at ever cruising again after our paid in full one in July.
  5. And when you lose a customer it's way harder to get them back than it was to get them in the first place. And that lost customer tells others who DO trust that lost customer.
  6. I truly recommend that you send you commend to Oceania.
  7. EXCUSE ME! Have you been there? I have. And I got to go ashore. And it was wonderful. But it's also wonderful if you can ride all around it and see something completely unique. @ORV can you weigh in here? I'm ALMOST beyond belief that anyone in the world could justify what was done?
  8. Well, it's hit a little bit of media 🙂 https://www.newsbreak.com/news/3332242198706-passengers-are-furious-after-norwegian-cruise-line-removed-antarctica-from-its-itinerary-after-everyone-had-boarded?noAds=1&_f=app_share&s=a3&share_destination_id=MTA3NTY1MzM2LTE3MDc4Nzg5ODEzNTY%3D
  9. We were there a few years ago. Granted it was an expedition cruise (small ship where we got to go ashore) . But I tell ya what if I had walked onto any ship that I had "bought" I'd be furious. Disappointed? Oh sure. But foaming at the mouth furious. With wifi on board I'd be contacting a lawyer before I ever disembarked. I hope a whole lot of those pax.
  10. One or two? I'll certainly be checking out every one of them before I book another.
  11. Ditto. We have some ports of our July cruise that were pretty key to booking the trip. No more stress.
  12. Holy Cow! (Not allowed to write what I'd like to!)
  13. I booked our cruise in Sept. and the SM shore excursions at the same time.
  14. Where is that "WOW" emoji?!?! As a side question are their any cruise line companies who do things like this and have that reputation? I'd be inclined to give them my money. But I realize that for those who spend a large part of the year on cruises that would be quite limiting.
  15. Thanks. After I posted above, I looked and see several different names. Whatever 🙂
  16. Is it called menudo in Puerto Rico?
  17. Can one grab a quick sandwich (breakfast or lunch) and eat it back by the pool in the lounge chair?
  18. We were 'given' upgrades 2x IIRC to veranda cabins. I think we walked out on them maybe twice. Just do a thing for us.

It will supposedly be in that port for a couple of weks IIRC. Whatever works works.

Rumor has it that Nautica is getting that pizza oven right before we board in early July.
  21. But it doesn't involve an anonymous stranger being judgmental.
  22. Not what the OP was asking.
  23. Love it! Many years ago in San Francisco we went to a little Mexican that I read had birria de chivo. The cute, little lady there kept saying it was lamb. But when we cleaned our plates I ask "cabrito?" "Si." And a huge smile. At least one gringa gained some respect that day 🙂
