  1. A couple of years ago I donated my last pair of 'high heels.' I still have a wonderful pair of tall boots with some heel. I can't even remember that last time I even open the box. I should make a commitment that if I don't wear them this winter, then they'll go away also.
  2. I just got my first pair of Vivaia. They're wider especially in the toe box. I also love my way too many Rothys. Like you, I take two pairs of shoes. My Rothys can work for dinner in either black round toe or navy pointed toes.
  3. As I've said here and other places: LCD - lowest common denominator.
  4. That's really incredible. I've never had that happen in a real theater. Plays, music, ballet, etc.
  5. Oh sorry. I guess that makes sense...from their standpoint.
  6. Our favorite dim sum place in Seattle has used that set up since covid. They lost a lot of workers.
  7. I'm really shocked by that. Japan is so forward in so many things. We were just chuckling that over 30 years ago in Santiago Chile they had ATM machines.
  8. Sadness. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
  9. Same as the beloved folks in San Francisco 🙂
  10. And round trip air if you choose.
  11. round trip air if you choose it.
  12. That's us. We're thinking Northern Italy by train if that's an option.
  13. Simply More. You'll find it on their site.
  14. Maybe it's changed but we cruised Alaska at least ten years ago and the ports were so crowded due to cruise ships that port time was pretty much ruined for us. The Canada/New England trips have always appealed and we'll hit them soon hopefully.
  15. It seems to have quieted down lately but the brouhaha over Simply More was astounding IMneverHO. And I will certainly keep in mind how O has handled things like the Red Sea. Operative words "keep in mind." And I'll be looking at SS and SB. We've been talking about spending our 'play money' on a single big thing so maybe that. We were actually booked on SS for Galapagos a couple of years ago but I had an accident that would have limited my off-ship activities.
  16. I booked them as quickly as I could. No problem. We've never done ship-sponsored excursions so we'll see. We're not hard to please.
  17. As do I. But I'm an info-junkie 🙂
  18. Oh, thank you so much for that reminder. We have a lot of ports coming up in July where we won't be doing excursions.
  19. We don't travel with one but the ones we have at home are plastic and fold up super well.
  20. We travel with what we call "lounge wear" a title that came from some elastic waist cotton pants and knit tee that my husband bought ages ago. Now it's just anything that we can change into when we go to our cabin. Keeps our real clothes cleaner and less wrinkled. We're pretty religious about this, even do it at home.
  21. But one can always put ties, tags, stickers, whatever.
  22. Maybe substitute "after many years of all sorts of travel including cruises." ?
