Do you have 'Pop-ups' disabled on your pc?

and people wonder why plastic bottles are not permitted.......

Wait until you are onboard before purchasing the Freestyle package as a lot of the time the machines are not functioning correctly or are out of order.

I have heard of (and enjoyed) a liquid lunch, but never a liquid breakfast. 😁

I studied this in detail before our 14 day Rotterdam cruise and the answer is yes they do repeat but not an exact repeat. They do swap different main courses/starters between the rotations. So does a menu repeat?- no, but will it look very familiar? - yes!

We used magnets successfully. Lots of metal around the room.

Good enough to get rid of excess water but not enough to shred the frillies 😁

It is a veal dish ok, this is rigatoni con pajata (veal intestines), This image shows rigatoni, and yours shows another type of pasta. I love tripe and drisheen, a local delicacy here 😋 lining of sheep's stomach, soaked in milk and simmered with a gelatinous blood pudding.......mmmmmm! This is rigatoni con pajata:

I don't believe that to be true, as we have tried texting (i.e. sms) from the ship with wifi and internet connection. The message does not seem to be sent until we actually connect to a mobile network. WhatsApp works ok tho.

Is the window washing machine 'parked' nearby and something loose there?

Daily schedule examples from a Northern Europe cruise?

You are welcome! If you have any more question over the next 8 months or so, just post and if I can't answer, I am sure someone else on the board will have the answer. -
Daily schedule examples from a Northern Europe cruise?
VMax1700 replied to washiotter's topic in Holland America Line
While it is not the same cruise as you have booked, if you go through this thread you will see most of the daily schedules and menus from our recent Northern Isles (Norway/Iceland/Scotland) on Rotterdam, the sister ship to Nieuw Statendam on which you are sailing. It will give you a feel for what will be happening. https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2876762-almost-live-northern-isles-on-rotterdam-august-28th-2022/ -

Multiple cruises in one holiday advice
VMax1700 replied to Shelton1986.'s topic in Ask a Cruise Question
I don't blame op @Shelton1986.for not coming back. Talk about having your dreams shattered! OP first you need to spend a few nights going through cruise line websites, some of which are easier to navigate than others. You will then see that most cruise lines are like migratory animals that move to and from certain common locations throughout the year. Such as most some ships are in the Caribbean during the October to April period. They travel to the Caribbean from wherever they have been sailing in the summer. Some from Alaska, some from Europe (Baltic, Med,) some from East Coast USA/Canada. Likewise they return to their summer sailing seasons after spending winter in the Caribbean. Some ships are in Asia/Aus/NZ during Northern Hemisphere winter and again travel to there in the autumn and then move on to their summer season location. Perhaps these are the sort of sailing you could look at, but do you want to spend 7 consecutive days at sea getting from place to place? (To all the 'experts' - I fully understand that this is a generalisation, but if OP has a dream, please at least encourage him and point him in the right direction. Perhaps if the name of the forum was changed to Cruise Help rather than the poorly but sometimes aptly named Cruise Critic) -
No standing, but depending on ship you may need to visit outside. Current safety drill consists of watching the safety video on the TV, visiting and checking in at your lifeboat assembly station, and listening to the Captain's safety briefing over the PA speaker system, which is given just before sailaway.

The staff were checking boarding times before granting access to the terminal.

Yes, the airport is very well signed. You need to head to Departures 3 so you will take an elevator up one floor. There are plenty of elevators. If you arrive to Arrivals 1 it may be a bit of a walk to the elevators, but it is inside and comfortable. Here is a link to the website for staxi. https://www.staxi.nl/en/pickup-locations/schiphol-airport-pickup/ If you scroll down the page you will see the instructions for meeting your driver. The driver may call you, but he uses Whatsapp for the call, so no cost to you (just stay inside the terminal to ensure the wifi signal!) I was a little apprehensive when I booked them, but after our experience from the airport to Rotterdam, I went ahead and booked them for the return journey at the end of our cruise. I booked with 'Cash Payment to driver' p.s. the Rotterdam is a great ship! You will surely enjoy it. p.p.s. Verifly is worth the effort! It certainly speeds up the boarding process in Rotterdam.
