  1. Buy one get one free would be great for the prices we've been paying recently! 😁
  2. Not sure, but maybe give them a call and request your son's share of the FCC be added to your account since he is a minor and cannot have an account. Good Luck!
  3. In the FAQ on the Norwegian site, it states "Corkage fees are N/A for those with a Beverage Package". Does this mean if we have either package, we don't pay a corkage fee? Just curious...🍾
  4. Just FYI...The AMEX perk is a non-refundable OBC...You won't be able to use it for your service charges.
  5. To be fair...The provision managers are doing their best. It isn't always them dropping the ball...Their suppliers, also have their own suppliers, and so on and on. A brand of bourbon for instance might have supply issues because the cork supplier didn't get enough corks made, or the bottles, labels, bourbon itself, etc... Don't make the provisions managers job harder by trying to give them assistance. I guarantee you they already know the bottlenecks and where the causes of the shortages are coming from.
  6. Perhaps post over at the Carnival board? I hope you find your answer.
  7. OP here, thanks to all for your feedback!
  8. We are sailing 7/22...Just tested positive for COVID. Fully vaxed with booster...What are chances my vacation is FUBAR'ed? 17 days before sailing... Thanks,
  9. You'll be fine. They don't have tables for only one person after all, do they? 🙂
  10. Sailing July 22. Sent request June 17th and followed up June 22nd. Zero response from NCL...Still Waiting. We have used this many times before and they always responded quickly (<48 hours). Triple checked email address... Not sure what the hold up is.
  11. What capacity is the ship at? How many passengers? We sail her next month!
  12. Drats! I had hoped there was a 25% discount off your cruise price out there! LOL!
  13. Can you elaborate on the 25% AMEX discount? Did you mean the offers AMEX has? Norwegian has been doing this with AMEX for years!
  14. For the Jewel class ships, there is a courtyard butler in the daytime, and the stewards are around most of the day. Plus the actual butlers are in and out throughout the day as well. In all the times I've been in the Haven, it has never been a problem. I so much prefer the smaller Jewel class Havens!
  15. Yes that is what we do. Never any issue. Just make sure you leave the date of the statement visible. They get picky if it it missing or too old.
  16. Erm...My post CLEARLY states: I just wanted to share for some of sailors new to 'The Haven' that there are others to consider when tipping - Of course it is a personal decision; AND They all work so hard to give us a wonderful experience and we like to show our appreciation to them... Thanks for your insight. -CTC001
  17. The DW and I are sailing next month Boston to Bermuda/Bar Harbor - Any embarkation issues we should be aware of? We are sailing the Haven - Is there a section in the Boston terminal for Haven guests to wait? Also, how does the customs work at Bar Harbor - Are we required to disembark the ship to be processed by customs, or be up early and report somewhere that morning if we don't plan to disembark? Thanks,
  18. The DW and I tend to stick with the smaller ships, Jewel Class (Jade, Pearl, Gem, Jewel) for Haven stays - I just wanted to share for some of sailors new to 'The Haven' that there are others to consider when tipping - Of course it is a personal decision; We like to tip the following whenever in the Haven: Room Steward Courtyard Valet Butler Concierge Haven Restaurant Breakfast/Lunch Maitre'd Haven Restaurant Breakfast/Lunch Servers They all work so hard to give us a wonderful experience and we like to show our appreciation to them - We tip throughout the week and give a larger final tip at the end of the cruise - It has always worked well for us.
