Most of our cruises are out of Los Angeles (San Pedro port). We show up when we want. Our last cruise, just got home yesterday, we were suppose to show up at 11:00. Then we received 3 emails during the two weeks prior to the start of the cruise, telling us to show up at 1:00 - ship is leaving at 3:00 - not happening. We were in the parking lot at 11:00 a - walked over to the luggage handlers, turned over our luggage, went through security, walked to the elite line, got checked in and we were on board by 11:30 If you are told to wait in a holding area, then wait but it won't be long. We had the smoothest boarding and quickest this past cruise.

did you get a offer slipped under your door the at the end of the cruise. It will be based on your play. Once you have established yourself in the casino, you will get emails and flyers. My husband had almost 6,000 points and me almost 5,000 points husband's offer: free inside cabin, princess plus and $150 casino free play me: free inside (no princess plus) and $250 casino free play, we do not book these offers, as we have gotten better offers from the mail or emails.

this cruise has 3,358 passengers - seems very crowded only one formal night on this cruise - the first sea day which is tonight clocks forward one hour tonight and agin tomorrow night then back one the next night and then again the last night - -- anyone know what time it is ???

i will try later. Lunch in Skagway was fast, and the beef was tender and flavorful. Doors for lunch opended aat noon, we were done by 12:30 - back to room to watch the safety video. nothing on board to indicate that Mazalan to not going to be a stop. using a wireless keyboard with my ipad and it is difficult tv shows seem to be the same as the last 7 cruises we have been on in the past year. few new movies but not many

margarita is the best. I love it, but one knocks me on my butt. wish I could drink them all day long,

before the bidding system if cabins were available, once on board the ship you could go to guest services and ask to upgrade. We were booked in a balcony and paid $30 a day per cabin to upgrade to mini suite, next cruise it was $40 per day. Now the bidding system, I put in a bid of $300 total to upgrade from balcony to mini suite. 7 night cruise, bid was accepted. We have another cruise in April and I will bid up again if available.

No one seems to have tried to book an Alaska cruise/land tour with casino offer, so I found a cruise on Holland America - 28 days around trip out of Seattle that its 21 stops. I went on the website Ocean Player Club which is Princess and Holland America casino company and asked if they would offer us a casino cabin for that cruise - never hurts to ask, I will let you know how they respond

We were on the Discovery in April 2022 - ship was not full. We ate at the Ocean Terrace 2 or 3 times. My husband loves sushi, and I still found things on the menu that meet my needs. The food is excellent and we would have lunch (only on sea days) or dinner and the cost was $15 - $20 total. if you like sushi, give it a try. I would give a five stars.

I was cleaning out my files and paperwork and came across some of the offers "in the past" that we had received. Free balcony, plus package, $500 free play and lots of cruises to choose from. I think it will be awhile before we get these offers again. We have 3 cruises this year (2023) and will not book another until we get a "good" offer.

We did our first cruise with Princess using a voucher received from Harrah's Rincon.

we received the email. I called the next day and paid the amount. We were on Deck 10 in a regular Balcony and are still on Deck 10 in a mini suite. Not sure what happens to those that don't want to pay for the new cabin

I am not sure if you can get a free cruise/free play without taking a cruise, playing in the casino and getting yourself established. We are taking our 13 cruise on Princess next month. Our first was a 28 day "bucket" list cruise to Tahiti round trip out of LA. That cruise got us free offers. We currently are looking at a cruise on Holland America - which is a sister company to Princess - I am planning to call Holland to see if they will give us a discount passed on our Princess status - don't know if that will work, but I will try.
