I am doing my own air and going 5 days early, spending some time in Bath. Staying two nights after the cruise in Bilbao Spain. Air on united but have to take Lufthansa out to Frankfurt to catch united to sfo. Only one hour connection time could be a problem but hoping for the best . Maybe by Oct 21 things will be better. If something goes wrong and I have to stay in Frankfurt for a day or two, its ok.hopefully United and Lufthansa gates are close

You miss the ship, you have to go to the next port. I would assume O Air and they would pay for it.

Cancelling united xplorer card, not the frequent flier program. Got a non fee chase united card. Not willing to pay the $95 xplorer fee anymore.

Does calling United help when trying to use ff miles? Recently I tried to book a direct flight from sfo to lhr in Business and 275,000 miles was not enough. So we bought premium economy . Recently cancelled Marriott viisa due to inability to use free nights. Am also cancelling United in Jan. Just got a no fee Chase United card to replace it. Totally disgusted with inability to make any of these cards work for me

They announced a change in hopes of more bookings. Then people pay the final payment and the virus gets worse and testing is required again. Anti vaxxers refuse to go and lose their money. Could be a mess. We can only hope things do not get worse

Oceania has eliminated testing requirement after Aug 1. Princess has not saidcanything yet.

I learned my lesson. Don't cancel a credit card you charged a cruise on until after the cruise.

I called and got it done. Actually the girl I spoke to said by buying the two more excursions the rest would be discounted. So I did that but only $400 was then due to AE so i added $400 on board credit to make the $800. The excursions have posted but not the onboard credit. Perhaps this will take a while longer, maybe until Th credit charge goes from pending to charged. Anyone bought on board credit who might know how long it takes to post?

They added mine for oct 1 cruise. As usual, it depends who is processing it.

I found a way to stop it from using onboard credit. But it refuses to let my wife pick a different excursion than me if they occur at the same time. Says “Available” but wont book. I guess I will call tomorrow

Was going to use The American express rebate deal. Two problems. wife wants one excursion in same port I want a different one. It wont let me do it and wont move the second one in to the cart second problem. It wants to use onboard credit instead of letting me use American express card. must I call or is there a way around this.

So if you pay through a travel agent it would not count? My amex Amazon card has the option but not the Hilton Card. Too bad I already paid final pay and booked excursions. There are a few ports I did not book excursions. It might now be worth it
