  1. I haven't been able to find other venues for afternoon tea in Quebec City, but I did find this site that lists patisseries in the city that offer sandwiches and pastries that might offer a nice DIY alternative. https://wanderlog.com/list/geoCategory/69616/pastries
  2. You could contact Halifax Taxi Tours and ask ask if any of their tours would include seeing puffins. https://www.halifaxtaxitours.com/
  3. Check out Gear Top brand sun hats for men and women on Amazon that provide 50 sun protection. Light weight, packable, mesh panel for breathability, dry quickly, very reasonable price.
  4. I believe that the ferry runs between the airport area and Long Wharf or Rowes Wharf. https://www.mbta.com/stops/Boat-Logan https://www.mbta.com/guides/ferry-guide
  5. We rented cars in Saint John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia for our party of 4 during our Canada/ New England cruise about 7 years ago. There are car rental locations close to the cruise terminals. Not sure how expensive or how available rental cars are currently. Depending on how long you are in port, it may be worth checking into for DIY flexible touring. In Saint John we drove out to St. Martins, drove part of the Fundy Trail Parkway, which was very scenic, stopped at the Sea Caves, and ate at a seafood restaurant near the caves. https://fundytrailparkway.com/ https://destinationstmartins.com/ In Halifax, we drove out to Peggy's Cove, and made several other stops including the Citadel in Halifax. We could have stopped at the cemetery, but decided not to.
  6. This sounds like the recipe that I found on the Ciroc website. It's called Ciroc Vodka Colada. Slight difference in amounts: 1.5 oz Ciroc pineapple 1 oz coconut water 0.5 oz lime juice 0.5 oz simple syrup splash of club soda Also other interesting cocktail recipes on their website.

  8. You might want to check out Conrad's Coastline Tours. He has excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. We recently booked a tour for the Fall and he is very prompt in responding to emails.
  9. We enjoyed our stay at Blue Horizon, a boutique hotel on Robson Street. It was reasonably priced, with many restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. Taxi to cruise terminal is only $10 CAD. https://www.bluehorizonhotel.com/
  10. Have you joined Captain's Club yet? Here are Captain's Club benefits by level: https://www.celebritycruises.com/captains-club/tiers-and-benefits https://www.celebritycruises.com/gb/captains-club/exclusive-offers/loyalty-reciprocity-program/

  12. I don't see Jameson whiskey on either classic or premium list. Hope that it's available.
  13. Captain's Club benefits list from Celebrity website including happy hour drink menu: https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/ccf9deeb#/ccf9deeb/1
  14. I think that you would get the price drop, but would lose your $500 onboard credit, since I don't believe that the current promotion includes any onboard credit. It's worth a call to Celebrity to find out.
  15. I haven't been on Flora, but here is a link to 2022 fleet wide Celebrity menus. https://profcruise.com/celebrity-main-dining-room-menus-2022/

  17. Here is an old thread about Sweet 16 cabins before they cost extra. The first 3 cabins on each side have steel columns and are totally covered by a roof above. I have stayed in a Sweet 16 cabin and liked the larger balcony with partial sun and partial shade, but personally would not want one of the first 3 cabins. https://wanderwiles.com/2016/09/19/celebrity-millennium-class-sweet-16-cabins-double-the-balcony-at-no-extra-charge/
  18. It was before final payment and nonrefundable deposit. There is a $100 pp fee for canceling a cruise with nonrefundable deposit or changing date or ship, so I don't want to change my original reservation by canceling and rebooking. The rep was good and answered all my questions. I will continue to watch for price drops before final payment.
  19. Booked cruise on Sunday, 7/31/22 with $200 pp onboard credit. Called this morning to see about getting additional $50 pp onboard credit with new weekend sale. I was told that the offer of $250 onboard credit only applied to new bookings made from 8/5-8/7/22, so my request was denied. Please report back if you call and get a different response.
