Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. It was nice watching our BHB come into port this morning, Mona made sure I was awake. Today’s meal suggestion is something I like a lot but don’t get very often. The best I’ve had was in an Irish pub in Batavia, NY, I’m sure the beer helped. The installation of more insulation in the attic was moved from Monday to today. This works better for us since I can pay attention and make sure the cats stay inside. I will not attempt to dress any of the cats. It would not go well.

The Rotterdam looks equally nice coming into port this morning.

The Nieuw Statendam looks good coming into port. Rotterdam is close behind.

If you are giving them pills try pill pockets. I have to give River her pill twice a day and that is the only way she’ll take the pill. They have chicken, salmon and catnip flavored pockets.

Good Morning Jacqui, I’m glad that you safely back at home. Thank you for all you do with this thread! While on the NA we booked the May 20, 2023 7 Day Historic Coasts on the Zaandam. We decided to book this on the cheap and have an OV, seeing if these are ok for retirement. At least we aren’t too far from the promenade deck.

I’ve done the math on this a few times. I find that without gratuity it’s borderline at best. We typically drink during happy hour so those prices are reduced. I also consider our discount for specialty dinners. You if your excursion is cancelled and there are no replacements then that $100 is lost. I booked our next cruise while on the NA without HIA and since it was during the Black Friday sale we have gratuity and ship board credit.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today’s meal suggestion is a favorite of mine. We just had it for New Years Day so it will be awhile before I make it again. We had a very light dusting of snow overnight and the temperatures are supposed to get into the 40’s so it will be gone quickly. Today National Grid is coming to replace our gas meter. They requested that I lock up any pets before they arrive. I replied it’s their home and you need to give a better arrival window, four hours is too long. The cats will supervise but ultimately stay out of the workers way. After multiple hoops to get a person I was not in a good mood. I hope everyone has a good Monday.

On social media someone is reporting that they boarded the NA today and HAL cancelled their cabana reservation, notifying them once onboard. Reason given was so that they could prepare for a charter.

At the moment the schedule shows NA for 3:45 and active! The other ships are confirmed. Marine traffic shows the ship being moored.

Our longest cruise has been 15 days and that was a full transit starting at San Diego, I couldn't imagine one much longer for us while we have the cats.
