  1. Stuff happens. Not much use to scream foul language. You sound like a fun group!
  2. The time is now. (BTW, if you know of a very old Pinnacle, who wants to share status but not a cabin, let me know plz.)
  3. Yes, I saw that, Mike. I have no idea if this info in the app is new or not. I was just sorry to see it. Maybe if you do not involve the cashier and only use machines to tranfer $s to casino and then use a machine to cash out, it bypasses getting promotional chips.
  4. See details in the app. Now on Symphony. The new policy might not of reached your ship yet.
  5. Not any longer. Too many bragged about it here and Royal stopped it.
  6. May I ask where you had dinner tonight? We were not excited about MDR menu again so went to Windjammer. Only 1/2 of it was open and it was packed!
  7. That's a hard way to get free wifi. I hope she is resting and getting healthy again. It's the 1st case that we have heard of on this cruise.
  8. My granddaughter txtd that she read it on the news. I asked an officer and he said absolutely not. We never heard an announcement.
  9. Cabin attendant gives you a business card. Just call if you need more.
  10. I do understand the point you are trying to make. However, I do not agree that earning a reward through loyalty means that a server should forfeit a tip for serving you your reward. But we will have to agree to disagree on this one. Enjoy your cruises and your earned rewards! And thx for the conversation!
  11. So, trying to understand your logic. Lets assume you win a contest to a free meal at your local restaurant. You go enjoy the meal, but you do not tip because it was a reward or something you won?
  12. Zero % of zero = zero. No one is automatically getting 18% on a d+ voucher drink. Do they deserve a buck or two for handing you a beer, yes! Do you stiff bartenders at home also?
  13. We have enjoyed MDR meals but we only go if menu looks good to us. Several nighty menus during week one did not appeal to us. Portion sizes are fine and asking for more or extras has not been a problem. Staff has been excellent.
  14. We are with you on the dining packages. We only had 6 nights + our D+ bogo. Unless you can catch a specialty with an open table early, plan on dining late. Jamie's usually has open tables early. We were told for 4 days of checking that our 8pm Chops reservation was the earliest they had. "Early dining is popular" is their line. We were having a drink in Central Park with plans to get a snack and wait for 8pm. When walking by Chops, we saw lots of empty table. We walked in and were seated. I told the waiter to tell desk staff that this would replace our 8pm reservation. Do you think passengers are over booking on purpose?
  15. Sit a bar and watch all the voucher users walk away w/o tipping and you will see you are wrong.
  16. Unless, the removers cash tip to each is much more than the $3 or $4 daily that they share with cruise line. Cash in their pockets is 100% theirs... no matter what anyone posts about "required to turn it in."
