  1. Been to CM several times, so we are familiar with the port. Just wasn't sure how far from the port area. After further research, we will use a taxi.

  3. EXACTLY my thoughts as well!! I โ™ฅ๏ธ stretch pants!! WM actually has some very good ones for cheap. We sail this Sunday, and I already have all of mine washed & ready to go!!
  4. Plenty of shady spots to sit? Do we go just outside the port area to grab a cab? This has made my short list for Costa Maya.
  5. Received our medallions yesterday. We received the "your medallions have shipped" e-mail after we received them - LOL!!! The invoice in the e-mail reflects no charge for having them mailed to us.

  7. Will the app notify me that our medallions have shipped or will I receive an e-mail? This is our first PCL cruise since the restart and the first on a medallion cruise. So far, NOT impressed with the app - so NOT user friendly. I managed to get the Green Lane status, so I feel like I accomplished something.

  9. When we ordered ours, there was no charge to have it mailed and we have the Princess Standard fare. The total charges line said "$0.00". I've also checked my credit card charges, and nothing from PCL for the mailing.
  10. AMEN! The first time I bought the LCS vanilla, as soon as I got home and compared it with my grocery store brand, the grocery store stuff went down the drain! Have never used anything but LCS vanilla since. And the smell - oh, the smell! Heaven!!!!
  11. Exact same question I had. Other question: are gratuities/service fees added to the purchase of the coffee card? Seriously looking at adding a card for each of us to our upcoming cruise. We love anything coffee - or tea!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ I think it would be a good deal for us, as we don't care to drink alcohol. Would much rather have coffee! This thread has lots of good info!!
  12. Were there in December, November and October - supply was always full. We'll be there again February 10. Prices are very reasonable IMHO for such good quality vanilla.

  14. Los Cincos Soles hands down for me!! I've gotten friends hooked on it, too, so I ocassionally bring back more bottles for them at request. Amazing stuff!!!
  15. I've read that taxis will not even take you to Paradise Beach if you do not already have a reservation for the AI package. Can anyone confirm if this is still correct? We love PB, but have always done the PAYG option and got there easily via a taxi, but that was before COVID.
  16. Thank you for this thread! I sent in our SH OBC docs last week but had not heard back from PCL. I'm used to CCL sending a confirmation e-mail once the OBC has been approved. Thanks to this thread I learned I needed to just go to my booking and look for it there. Found it - yay!
  17. Probably wise in hindsight for us. We came home with COVID after our December 10 sailing. This was our 5th cruise since restart, but first time with COVID for both of us. It's been very mild for us, but it isn't that way for others I'm sure. We definitely got it on the ship. More than likely the elevators, as we were almost always crammed in one when we used them, but just a guess. Who really knows. Thanks again to OP for reveiwing for us!
  18. Falstaff's website references a gated parking lot in their options, which is a few dollars less than the enclosed garage parking. Where is that in relation to their garage parking? Couldn't see anything that looks like a gated parking lot looking at a map of their location. I e-mailed them to ask about the gated parking, but I have not received a response. Also, anyone have a promo code for them? Thanks in advance.
  19. This seems to be the trend. Just found this thread, and I look forward to reading through it, as we'll be on Ruby FEB 5 - will be our first PCL cruise since the restart. Saw your comment re: frustration with the app - glad it's not just me! I'm pretty techy, but their app is way too clunky. I'm convinced those who design such apps never bother to try them for themselves. Terrible.
  20. So are those options supposed to show up in my dining options in my reservation?? Only thing showing is MTD, and I have not made any reservations under MTD.
  21. Is MTD the only option now? Have only sailed RCCL once since the restart, and only option was MTD for that cruise since we booked very close to sail date. Didn't really like the MTD - it was a hot mess. Just booked Harmony for DEC 2023, and the only option showing is MTD. Wouldn't think traditional would already be full this far out.
  22. Same problem on CCL. Sad to see it's carried over to RCCL now. I don't understand why the lines have rules, but don't enforce them.
  23. Thanks for info re: Falstaff. We usually use lighthouse, but they donโ€™t have services listed for the Princess sailings, and we sail 2/5/23.
