  1. I have already corrected the issues I have with RCI...which really grew an ugly head of cheapness since restart after Covid. I am booking with other lines now, for the first time in almost 20 years. Bye..bye RCI.
  2. LOL...you so bad. 😄 You could demand an allowance for taking them to the post office, grocery, house cleaning, lawn mowing etc. That is what they are doing now in China, so I have heard. 😉
  3. I cringe at how many brand new vehicles I could have bought with the cruises we have booked. 😮 Or houses for that matter. 😉
  4. That is not a B2B. More commonly called a side to side.
  5. I didn't wait for any of the certificates to be sent months later. I called RCI right after points were posted and had the agent apply my certificate. Indeed, they have a record of it. One I applied the 2400 to a currently booked cruise, and the second one....like you, applied to a balcony cabin on Wonder. Just had to pay taxes and port fees of 313.00.
  6. Money? Nah...don't you know that casinos are a non-profit organization? 😄
  7. It is usually 30 days. At that time you will get your edocs as well. And is another way to access your tags. Scroll down to around page 17 of those docs and you will see your tags there for printing also.
  8. Normal for me as well. Suggest you delete cookies?
  9. I never do Royal up for just that reason....location. Not where...but which cabin ....since we do almost exclusively B2B or more. I don't want to risk changing cabins.
  10. Boarding for the WC in December. Will be very interesting the menu selections on that one. 😉 In a perfect world, it would be nice if they featured the country they visit for some local flavor. Not sure if they will do that.
  11. I am not sure that would be a good idea if you had been boarding the Costa Concordia. 😉
  12. Indeed. There is no wrong or right way...just your own way. Though IMHO, I am not a fan of the writing skills of the porters, and being retired....I have plenty of time to do my own tags in advance. It is actually kind of "oh wow...we are getting ready to go!" part of the process for us. Being all alike and doing the same thing would be like having only one choice of Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins. 😉
  13. We get compliments from the porters when we use them, and have used them for years. Two on each bag, one on side, one on top. I use zip ties, which seem to be stronger than the ties the kit gives you. Plus it is nice to reuse them for each trip, and to slip in our disembarkation tags.
  14. If you look at your tag, you will see a blank space that shows "name". Not actually necessary to print the name, and I only print my last name, but I do it anyway.
  15. Early on our cruising life, we could not find our bag on disembarkation. Finally found it in the odd section of no tagged bags. The one tag I had on it had apparently been torn off. We have often found other pax tags in the hallway early on that day. I just feel better having a second tag on it, in case one is torn off. Would prefer not to have to scramble around, and then have to open it to prove it is mine. But that's just me.
  16. Try booking with other lines...you will get the same problems. Pick your poison. Been there...done that. Worse now after Covid restart.
  17. I simply print out one tag from my cruise documents. Then hand print my last name, then scan and make copies for all of my bags, two on each checked bag of course.
  18. Indeed...the current CL location used to be the old "Cigar Bar". And morphed into the location of the evening "Diamond Event" before the ships added dedicated, keyed, hosted Diamond Lounges. Though it still stunk of cigars in there during the event. 🤢 The new DLs on the four sisters went in when they walled off that end section of the VCL, and added the keyed entry door on the elevator side.
  19. You are most welcome. That area is actually nice for walking around, and has been set up as a "touristy area" years ago. Before that it was a nasty dirt road and stunk of scallops from the scallop factory and the shrimp boats all rafted together. Wish I had taken pictures for a "before and after". 😉 Enjoy your cruise!
  20. I have had the same problem trying to book favorite cabins as a couple, that RCI has set aside for a minimum of three to a cabin. Very frustrating.
  21. If you are into walking (as I am)....that walk is not bad at all. Mullet drive more direct, but Glen Cheek is interesting past the restaurants. We often walk along Glen Cheek drive to waste some time, having arrived early to score inside garage parking. Walk with your luggage and family just west of the terminal towards Grills restaurant. Lots of crew members hang along that walkway waiting for transport, just before you get to Grills along the walkway/side road. You can load up there, and there are a few benches to sit at. We also love walking over to Grills before boarding time for a "start your cruise up right" Bloody Mary to enjoy on the dock there next to the ship. 😉 The bartenders inside really know how to make a killer Bloody Mary.
