  1. There are several countries that do not accept a certificate of recovery yet that does not stop you from going on that cruise. It only stops you from disembarking in that particular country.
  2. If you booked yjrough a travel agent then they can see your FCC online but you can't.
  3. On the Promenade near where you enter the ship.
  4. I was 0 for 2 in using my kids vouchers in February snd March. Multiple bartenders on Indy snd Symphony said no.
  5. With all the different travel restrictions with various countries Royal no longer guarantees getting you to the next port.
  6. Guarantees have to be booked with a fake second person even through a TA in most cases
  7. One thing I have noticed over the past several months in seeing many winning bids for my clients is that it appears that in at least many cases that you stand a much higher chance of getting your bid accepted even if it is a low bid if you are bidding on the next category up as opposed trying to bid on a category 2 or more away from your current category. This makes sense as they can then offer your cabin then the one below it and so on. For example, on a lot of recent sailings a lot of my clients won a bid from an OS to a CLS with a minimum bid. Pretty sure there were lots of other bids on the CLS from lower categories with a higher amount but the more cabins that they can turn over the higher the overall extra revenue they will achieve.
  8. In the sense that if you already have one booked then it will stay with your winning bid. In all other aspects then no.
  9. Actually, most of the dining vouchers that are given by TA's are what are called "pass through promotions" that are actually given by Royal but look like they came from the TA. They are specific promotions that Royal runs with individual travel agencies. One of the reasons those dining vouchers are restrictive and can't be cashed out.
  10. Must be ship specific as I had no issues in getting an 11am check in time for our July 8 Ovation sailing when check in opened at 45 days out.
  11. You will have to call to be able to do this and most likely have to have each of the other 3 guests send an e mail to Royal authorizing you to use their FCC's but it can be done
  12. Doubtful. Every time you make a change to the ship and sail date you will be assessed the $100pp fee. After getting hit with the fee the first time they will most likely pick something they will actually sail on.
  13. Correct. That has not changed. The deposit does not increase you just need to pay the $100pp change fee.
  14. If you cancel you lose the entire deposit. If you move it you only pay a $100pp change fee
  15. It is the original booking creation date. Repricing does not affect the points. Anytime you request a new invoice you get one with the current date.
  16. Only if your cruise was booked before March 31, 2022 and sails before Sept 30, 2022. Adjustment is done by OBC.
  17. Years ago thrh were offering Canadiznz OBC at a 10% exchange rate vs over 35% at the bank. I have clients that purchase it as a gift for someone's cruise. There are people out there that want everything paid ahead of time. Some do not have a credit card. Lots of different personal reasons.
  18. In my experience changing from a double occupancy to a single will not change the price unless you are changing cabin categories. The only adjustment to the price would be the amount of the taxes and fees for the second guest What Ellen suggested also works, just change the name of the second guest and have them be a no show.
  19. They dont annpunce a new policy just days before it is set to expire. He was definitely confused about something.
