Definitely not safe and I thought there was a sign saying no pedestrians but I could be wrong. I'll check on it the next time we're over that way. We usually take Uber/Lyft to the port but sometimes just jump in a taxi to get home (3.5 miles from terminal 6). Last time we took a taxi from there, it was around $20 - and there were 4 of us. Grills is closer so no way should it have been $40 - that's crazy.

We never had Guy's fries prior to 2021 but have had them several times since. We like those fries (and the seasoning) and the ones at Big Chicken.

I skipped ahead to the last few pages to see why Prima is docked at the Mardi Gras terminal - that was a surprise when I looked out my front door. I still need to go back to the middle and catch up on what I missed but this has been a fantastic review, thanks Sid (and JinxyB)! -
If you follow this review, you'll find the answers to a lot of your questions.

I think it's for short girls though - I'm not 4' tall. 🤦♀️ -

We've have very good food and not so good food there. It's consistently inconsistent. -

I agree - I think it needs to be up around where the top of the towel rack is in the reflection. -

I'm way behind but it's possible Megan is thinking of Papa Vito's. Zarrella's and a beach store are in one building. Papa Vito's is in a little strip mall. -
Specialty Coffee on Vista
Knights on the Beach replied to Knights on the Beach's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
We're early risers so we're usually heading for coffee around 7:00 ish - and my husband just gets Americano with cream and fake sugar, nothing fancy. LOL So our morning routine on Mardi Gras was always to head straight to Bar Della Rosa on deck 8 to get his coffee and my Pepsi Zero, then up to Lido on 16 to grab a table and then get food from Blue Iguana or Big Chicken. That table was always our morning spot to meet friends or family who were cruising with us. So I guess our routine on Vista won't be much different - we'll head down to Java Blue then back up to Lido - minus the Big Chicken part. 😭 -
Same. Now there have been a few bartenders/servers that we really connected with and stay in touch with. When I know we're going to see them again on a cruise, I just reach out to them and ask if there's anything they need. In 2021 when they couldn't get off the ships at all in ports, I was able to send a goodie bag with a friend to deliver to a crew member friend. He was so appreciative, sent me a picture of it when he got it.

Specialty Coffee on Vista

Sorry to hear that about Ocean Plaza. Looks like Java Blue it is since Havana Bar doesn't open early. Thanks all! -
I've tried searching for this info but keep getting an error message. We just booked our first B2B on Vista for 2024 and our cabin is on Lido. I know specialty coffee is at Java Blue. Also at Ocean Plaza? Is there anywhere else on the ship to get good coffee, at another bar maybe? On Freedom there's a small coffee bar behind the Lido buffet and on Mardi Gras we go to Bar Della Rosa. Also, in Ocean Plaza is there still a small breakfast buffet or food there at other times?
