  1. It's only about 45 minutes from MCO to Port Canaveral, so not too bad. That would be awesome - we can start our vacation day early at Grills then walk over to the ship when it's time to board. 🙂
  2. I'm happy to see your post! We would also like to try out MSC and Seaside looks really pretty. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it! We're also branching out a bit and will be on Disney Fantasy 8/26. That will definitely be different for us!
  3. I've never seen a form, I just send an email to guestadmin@carnival.com with the following info: Please apply our Carnival shareholder benefit for our upcoming cruises – info is below. Our most recent brokerage statement is attached. Name: VIFP #: Booking #: Ship: Sail date: Cabin # :
  4. I did receive $250 credit and it was broken out the way I said. If I post the email (with the booking numbers blacked out), you still won't believe it because there are no dates - just booking numbers, so what does that prove?
  5. We have a B2B booked on Vista (6 & 8 days) next year. I emailed the request for shareholder credit last week and received the reply two days later that $250 was applied - $50 on the first leg and $200 on the second leg.
  6. Where's the thumbs down button? I'm happy the issue has been resolved!
  7. Glory will be back in Port Canaveral next year (in May I think). We went on her in 2004 and loved it!
  8. According to Carnival, Vista will be in dry dock 1/7/24 - 2/14/24.
  9. I saw Liberty leave as well. It was a little later than the normal 3:30 departure time (shortly after 4:00) and it was raining pretty good then.
  10. OMG same. Only I'm not getting on a cruise and I'm only on page 24 so I have a lot of catching up to do. 🤦‍♀️
  11. I watched that on our flight back from Ireland Tuesday - I liked it!
  12. We found the wait to be very short if we checked in right when it opened. Keep an eye on the app because it often opened for check in about 10-15 minutes before those restaurants actually opened.
  13. There is a bus system but it doesn't pick up at the cruise terminal. It's easy enough to get Uber/Lyft/taxi from the ship to the beach here - that's definitely the way I'd go.
  14. Casa Marina and The Reach are no longer Waldorf Astoria resorts - they're now part of the Curio Collection. I always liked Casa Marina but we usually stay closer to Duval Street.
  15. Both are included at no extra charge for both lunch and dinner, but Cucina is not open for lunch on embarkation day.
  16. Mine are dark red and they now say Priority. When I saved them in February, they were a different shade of red (brighter) and said Platinum in dark red.
  17. There's a very good chance we were at Grills at the same time. Did you sit at the tiki bar or table?
  18. Ironically, 4 times on MG and we got seats at Alchemy almost every time we tried - but didn't go there as much because we love the other bars even more on that ship. On Freedom, we never managed to sit at the bar, had to sit at the outer tables. So did UCF but we didn't play anyone good so ... 🤷‍♀️ 🤣
  19. We're going on Disney Fantasy later this year - we're long time cruisers but this will be our first time on Disney. Does anyone have updated bar menus? Most of the ones I've seen online are from 2018 or 2019.
