no tote bag. terry slippers now

What do you mean...no tote bag?? The just recently (well sort of recently) put them back on there. We just got 4 a couple of weeks ago! You mean to tell me they are gone again!? Sheesh! I don't want bottles of wine. I get all I need from the CL or on my card. John doesn't drink wine. The slippers are horrible.

Jane, different point levels have different choices. It could be that the tote bag does not appear at the 175 point level anymore. The choices expand at 350 and 525 points.

Always enjoy your reviews. What beach is Fantasy Island on? Looked great - we always head to Bananarama on West bay. But can be fun to try new things.

Fantasy Island is an all inclusive resort about thirty minutes (east, I think) of Coxen Hole. Now it is NOT all inclusive for us. I don't do crowds.....so this is perfect for me. I just book it through Island Marketing and they get us there and back....no problems. We have been there three times and have really enjoyed it. Very quiet.....good Wi-Fi.

Glad to have you along for the ride. Just so you know that Vision is an older ship and doesn't have all the bells and whistles that a lot of the newer ships have or the comforts that Celebrity has. Sorry that we are so boring......we've been cruising so long that we no longer go to the shows (Not many, anyway). And we didn't even eat in the dining room this trip.....so that's much help to you. Ha!

possibly. Or maybe the 525 level. Definitely not on the 175 level

Someone made a list of amenities for each level not too long ago, I'll see if I can find it for another thread.

Sorry Jane, no more hijacking.

OK.....so our dinner at Chops was very good. We will go back on Friday night and get our complimentary dinner that we won at the Meet and Mingle.

We went to the theater for the Love and Marriage show at 9:45. (Really staying up late tonight!! Ha!) It was good, but nothing special. We went on to bed after that. We had to move our clocks forward and that was a killer!

Wednesday ~ March 2, 2016 ~ Costa Maya

Love, love, love Costa Maya......one of the main reasons we booked this cruise.

Up really early today. We had to meet our ride out to the beach at 8:30, so we couldn't eat in the MDR.....so to the dreaded WJ we go. It actually wasn't too bad.....just not as relaxing as we would like.

Here we are approaching the dock.

We were able to get MJ to take us off today so we wouldn't get stuck in any lines, so we were able to meet our ride on time. We've been to CM quite a few times and have always gone to Nohoch Kay.....right in town. But today we decided to try something new, so I made reservations at Maya Chan. I have always heard nice things, so I wanted to check it out for myself.

We were met outside the area at the taxi stand by Julie.....who got us in a taxi immediately and we were off on the 30 minute ride out to Maya Chan. This was by way of a very rough and rutted dirt road.....AKA the Costa Mayan Massage!! That was the only downside of the day.

We finally got there and we were warmly welcomed and their wonderful hospitality began. It was really good today because there were only 20 people expected. My kind of place!!

We were the first to arrive. We were shown to our own little special place for the day and received a rum punch and some snacks.

I asked for a spot with plenty of shade. We had two Adirondack chairs, a bed, and a hammock in our little private area. Perfect!!!

Oh......and the Wi-Fi was great here. This is a great place and I highly recommend it. We had wonderful service all day long. They were constantly asking if they could do anything for us. All drinks and food are included.....plus really neat floats and kayaks. John stuck with beer all day, and they had our favorite Mexican beer.....Pacifico. I started out with a very spicy Bloody Mary and went on to Pacifico from there.

There were so many neat little private areas for each party.....customized for how many people you had in your party. Just really neat.
