Upgrade Question

We just booked (today) a cruise that leaves in 87 days. There is plenty of availability on the ship and we booked through the NCL website.

Will we get an offer to bid for an upgrade? Or did we book too late?

Invitations to bid are sent 80 days out.

We once booked inside of 80 days, and the offer came the very next day.

You can bid on an upgrade up to a week or two before the cruise leaves. Additionally you can always call NCL and just upgrade directly by paying the difference between the rate of the upgrade and what you originally paid.

If there is inventory, NCL will accept bids early, so making an offer sooner increases your chances. If you are bidding on a suite, expect that to be processed week of cruise.

But keep in mind that not everyone gets an invitation to bid. My sister and husband are sailing with us in May on the Getaway. We got an invitation to bid, they did not.
