TwoTravelin Posted September 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Looks like quite a few cruises on this week's sale! http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Multi_Dest/Special_Offers/rci_sales_event.pdf
molly361 Posted September 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2016 I have never seen one with that many pages. AND with some cruises that are pretty far in the future (December). Wonder if this is going to be a new trend with the weekly sales flyer??
mirp Posted September 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Wow. You aren't kidding that is the longest list I've seen. Like the extended booking dates. Until Friday instead of Wednesday. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
metroidfreak Posted September 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) So these are supposed to be special rates right? A cruise we are going on is listed there and the price isn't any different from what it's been? Edit: Oh I'm looking at the North East resident rate, which is making it less that these prices listed. kc320 Posted September 10, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2016 You can't use the GGG prices to upgrade yourself can you? I'm on Majesty 11/14 in an inside cabin...hoping to move to an OV...right now there are TONS of them available...

mpoole3 Posted September 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Enchantment down to $139 pp for Friday!!! I would book this in a second, but I'm on Empress next week.
Clarea Posted September 10, 2016 #10 Share Posted September 10, 2016 I think the reality of slow Sept to Dec sales is starting to hit. Except for the EN sailings, still not many good suite prices. Also, did you notice they used the wrong rows for some ships? Neighborhood categories on AD and EN?
Biker19 Posted September 10, 2016 #11 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Also, did you notice they used the wrong rows for some ships? Neighborhood categories on AD and EN? Proper editing of the flier doesn't seem to be a priority.
pspercy Posted September 10, 2016 #12 Share Posted September 10, 2016 (edited) I picked an Empress sailing at random, I noticed there were no C&A discounts available. Is this normal? The small print says:Offer is not combinable with any promotional offers or discounts with the exception of Crown & Anchor benefits and NextCruise Onboard Booking Bonus. The small print says:Offer is not combinable with any promotional offers or discounts with the exception of Crown & Anchor benefits and NextCruise Onboard Booking Bonus. General C&A discounts are not on all sailings or categories. However, C&A balcony discounts should be available on all Empress sailings in a stateroom with a balcony. TravelerThom Posted September 10, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 10, 2016 ...Also, did you notice they used the wrong rows for some ships? Neighborhood categories on AD and EN?The template they are using is wrong. It SHOULD read Deluxe, Balcony, Neighborhood, Ocean-View, Inside in that order. Prices are listed in that order, but the template categories have Balcony and Neighborhood reversed. Thom
Biker19 Posted September 10, 2016 #15 Share Posted September 10, 2016 The template they are using is wrong Have they always used airport codes for the departure ports? I seem to remember something else there before.
nelblu Posted September 10, 2016 #16 Share Posted September 10, 2016 I believe these prices are before taxes & fees. The allure C1s look interesting if one can get the balcony discounts. Also, a lot of scrolling.
nelblu Posted September 10, 2016 #17 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Noticed the T&F as a separate line from the fares. Sorry.
nelblu Posted September 10, 2016 #18 Share Posted September 10, 2016 How does one go about booking these sales. Went to the RCLs web site and get the 25% promo which gives a higher price than reflected on the GGG sale. Looking at Allure Nov. 20th sail in a Neighborhood cabin which I assume is C1 category. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Biker19 Posted September 10, 2016 #21 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Sometimes, the GGG listed sales are also available the weekend prior to the flier dates.
MikeBTN Posted September 10, 2016 #22 Share Posted September 10, 2016 I'm already booked on one of these, albeit in a lower category (OV). Odds I'll be able to move up to the balcony or JS at the GGG price?

That's better than expected - I figured 0% :-) I booked through a TA. Hopefully she's a good negotiator :-)
