Breakaway - What side faces the dock in Bermuda

So far this season BA has been docking starboard side more often than port side :o

 

Previous years it was port side more often but this time no.

 

Maybe the Captain wanted to watch the America's Cup from his bridge, lol :cool:

 

I'll see next week when the AC is over.

I've been keeping track weekly for our upcoming cruise. ;p

The list is based on which side is facing the Dockyard:

  • Wednesday, April 26, 2017 - Port
  • Wednesday, May 3, 2017 - Starboard
  • Wednesday, May 10, 2017 - Port
  • Wednesday, May 17, 2017 - Starboard
  • Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - Port
  • Wednesday, May 31, 2017 - Starboard
  • Wednesday, June 7, 2017 - Starboard
  • Wednesday, June 14, 2017 - Port
  • Wednesday, June 21, 2017 - Starboard

It was starboard side when I sailed Breakaway in May 2017 and when I was docked in Bermuda (on Celebrity Summit) in 2015- I remember the NCL ship being docked on the Starboard side. So I think that's generally how it's docked.

 

See post #3. Previous years the NCL ships tended to face out to sea more. This year they seem to be more 50/50. I hadn't thought about the AC possibly being a reason for more facing inland this year.
